"Are you not cold?" Robyn eyed her sister as she placed her purse, book, and yogurt on the table that separated the two. It was late December, the weather being the lowest that it's been all year and Robyn couldn't lie and say she wasn't cold. But she hadn't been to her house in weeks, she only had the clothes that were at Maurice's house to work with.

"I'm fine." She mumbled. The two were in a little cafe that was basically empty, but they sat in a secluded area. Since Maurice being home and word spreading that Austin dropped her, Robyn's status wasn't as high as it used to be and she was grateful for that.

She hated having to walk around with security down her back all the time, having all eyes on her whenever she entered a building, having people look at her as if she was something special. She always hated attention.

"Your purse is cute." Robyn's eyes diverted to the prada bag that sat on the table. Maurice had gotten it for her last week, it was a random gift but she was grateful for it. He liked doing that, spontaneously and randomly spoiling her. She didn't know why, it was sudden, but she wasn't complaining. At least she felt appreciated by someone.

"Yeah, I'm not here for this. I just want to talk about a couple things, more so what happened a couple nights ago." Robyn said, getting straight to the point. Desi placed her hands on the counter top, clasped together.

"If you're talking about me coming to his house drunk or whatever, I don't even know why that's any of your business. It is what it is." Desi shrugged, watching Robyn who sat almost speechless. She didn't know what she was expecting, but it surely wasn't for her to be completely ignorant about the situation.

"So you just don't care?"

"Care about what? I'm a grown ass woman and I can do whatever I want to do. I don't get why that's any of your concern." Robyn twisted her face up, she had no appetite anymore and she could feel her face heating up with every word that left her sister's mouth.

"I didn't ask what you can and can't do. It's the principal Desiree, you know that him and I fucking with each other, you even told me that you see how in love I am with him. So what posses you to go completely against that and go for something that you know I'm pursuing?" Her thick native accent was coming straight to the surface with every word she spit at Desi.

"You knew that him and I were messing around yet you still tried on your pursuing. Why would you even?" Robyn sat honestly confused. All of this was coming out of nowhere, especially after the little talk they had after her and Maurice ran into each other that night. As far as she was concerned, Desi was all for them.
