"I don't know how else to express it, I'm genuinely so sorry Dylan." Robyn sat with a sincere look on her face as she talked to Dylan who seemed like he wasn't trying to budge. Sighing in defeat, she leaned back on the couch and ran her hand down her makeup free face.
"You know how disrespectful that shit was man? Like I really thought you was feeling me like I'm feeling you-."
"I am! He just- he kissed me and caught me off guard. I didn't know what to do." Robyn wasn't lying for the most part, Maurice really did catch her off guard because she was sure he was going to kill Dylan on the spot. But as soon as his hand connected with her neck, she knew what was about to happen.
"If you're sober and someone kisses you, you know exactly what's going to happen. You just ain't shit." Dylan shrugged nonchalantly, but ignorance showed all through his body language. Robyn raised an eyebrow, a little taken back by his choice of words with her.
"You can calm down Ms.girl, I'm not even with you to be having to explain myself. But out of respect, here I am trying to be nice and shit. I could have sat in your face and said I enjoyed the kiss, but I didn't." Dylan chuckled bitterly, shaking his head to himself. Robyn watched him, getting angry herself now.
"So in other words, you could've sat in my face and admitted to being a hoe-." Robyn didn't even give him a chance to finish his sentence before she had the TV remote flying right into his eye. Dylan immediately brought his hand up to hold his eye, releasing a low groan.
"Say it again so I can knock out your other eye. Dumbass nigga got me fucked up." She mumbled, standing to walk into the kitchen. She really did feel bad for kissing Maurice in front of Dylan because she knew it probably hurt and it gave Maurice an upper hand. But one thing she couldn't do was disrespect, and Dylan was spewing that left and right through his own anger.
Going in her fridge, she looked for some type of alcohol but came up short. She sighed, her little under the influence detox was getting the best of her. It had been months since she smoked or drank. It made her feel good on the inside, but sometimes she needed that stuff in her system but had no access to it. She could of course call Maurice because he had it all, but she didn't want to do that.
"You know I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Robyn squeezed her eyes shut, her head still deep in the fridge. Slowly, she stood straight and closed the door to turn and face Dylan. She could see the eye she hit was already swelling and bruising a little, but that wasn't her problem.
"You literally called me a hoe after trying to preach about how much of a fuck nigga my ex was. You've been on his dick for the past day since that damn kiss and hell, even before that. Stop speaking on him, yes I kissed him, it is what it is at this point. Can I take it back? Nope. Would I think it back? Quite frankly Dylan...I would not." She was being petty, but she meant every word she said.
