"He can't be serious." Robyn mumbled to herself, watching Maurice walk in her direction with a sly smirk on his face. She took a sip from the white wine she ordered beforehand, holding it close to her mouth as her eyes remained fixed on him.

The waitress sat him and Jay in the booth right next to them where the other couple previously sat. Robyn rolled her eyes, she knew he was doing this on purpose and didn't know why. He loved playing petty, stupid games, knowing it would get under her skin. This wasn't exactly what would get him out the doghouse, but he wasn't even focused on that.

"Oop." Lizbeth whispered under her breath, she knew she was suddenly in the middle of a crossfire. Her teacher sitting across from her with her ex, and what looked, to be his new girlfriend right next to them. The girl could tell her teacher was bothered with the way she uncomfortably shifted in her seat, but she didn't want to mention it.

"Robyn?! Robyn, that's you forreal?!" She took a deep sigh, hearing Maurice in her left ear. She put on a tight lipped smile, turning her head to face him. The amusement in his voice didn't match the evil expression on his face.

Jay watched the two stare at each other, getting jealous with the way Robyn took all his attention, even when she was mad at him. It was like she wasn't even there with the way Maurice made it a point to not acknowledge her. When Robyn was around, every other female was just an added factor, his attention on them not being a necessity in his head.

"Ace." She kept it short and cold, the way his name left her lips being the exact same as when he came home from jail. He recognized it too, furrowing his eyebrows at the harsh tone she held. He at least expected her to be a little more lenient after he sent the roses. In all honesty Robyn was, and she wasn't as mad as before...but everything switched once he decided to bring another female out to eat, then have the audacity to sit right next to her with the girl. The same girl they fell out over the first time.

"Baby, what are you gonna get?" Maurice and Robyn both diverted their attention over to Jay who held her menu up. Maurice gave her a death glare, non verbally telling her that when they left from the diner he was about to fuck her up. Robyn chuckled to herself darkly, turning her attention back to Lizbeth.

"You know Ms. Fenty, if you ask me I just feel like you're really that bitch. Any man would kill to have you, all females probably envy you, really not something to play with." Robyn glanced up, a small smile threatening to spread on her lips. She knew exactly what Lizbeth was doing, petty was her second nature.

"Oh yeah? Well some men just can't appreciate when they have a good thing." Robyn flipped through the small booklet of desserts, trying to seem nonchalant. She knew her words were getting to Maurice with the way she could feel him burning a hole through the side of her face.
