"Can y'all please stick with me for..." Robyn trailed off, looking up at the clock that sat on the far wall. "15 minutes, that's all I need of focus and I'll let y'all out 10 minutes early. I know it's last period, but we only have 45 minutes left. All I need to do is go over this last little bit with y'all." The whole class immediately shut up, finally giving Robyn the chance to finish up what she was trying to do.

"Thank you, now for this project I just want you all to pick one word from the list I emailed out last night. With that word, you're gonna draw it big on a piece of paper. I need it big to the point where I can see it, but still leaving space around it. In the word, because I want it in bubble letters, you write people who relate to that word. Then on the outside, I want you to write what the word means to you." She looked around at all the confused faces blankly staring up at her.

"I don't get it." Kayla, one of the students, spoke up. Robyn placed a hand on her hip once the rest of the class started agreeing. To be a class of juniors, they were definitely her dumbest class. But she could never say that out loud.

"Alright, I'll do an example. Someone give me a word." Robyn uncapped one of the expo markers that lined the white board, turning her back to face the class.

"Love!" Someone shouted out, making her pause for a minute. She knew she couldn't just freeze and choose not to do the word because the class would have no problem figuring out something was wrong. With only a few weeks of her becoming their teacher, all of the students knew Robyn like the back of their hand.

She always made it her duty to make them feel comfortable, and if they didn't have a teacher they could come to for anything and everything, they would have her. Everyone loved her, everyone came and talked to her if they needed to, she was just that one teacher everyone needed in their life.

"Okay love. So, I'll write it like this..." She trailed off, doing a quick bubble letter sketch of the word. Her tongue hung out of her mouth slightly due to how focused she was on what she was doing.

"Now, who are some people I may love? Give me roles of people, or give me names of people who you think express love well."

"A best friend!" Robyn wrote down Marie's name in the L, making it big so her name nearly fit the whole letter.

"A kid!" Robyn turned towards the class with a small smile lingering on her lips. They always somehow found a way to throw kids into every single class and she still didn't know why.
