If They Turned into Babies

A/N: For brevity's sake, assume that a Blood Demon Art changes your partner into a 2-year-old (but retains their adult memories) for 24 hours. For demons, it will last for 12.

Tanjiro:

You're always surprised at some things about your boyfriend, but him being a placid, happy baby is a new one. After seeing that Nezuko is safe, he just smiles at you, babbling incoherently before making grabby hands at you and falling asleep once he's in your arms. He's surprisingly calm about getting infantized, luckily for you (and Nezuko likes holding him, awed at how tiny her big brother is).

Nezuko:

Nezuko could already change her size, but her suddenly changing into a baby was new. This really did seem to be someone else's work, not her own, but you took care of her all the same. She was finicky with anyone save for you or Tanjiro (even with Zenitsu she was a little nervous) and mostly slept like, well, a baby.

Zenitsu:

The first thing he did was panic and cry (which ow, your poor ears). He only calmed down when he was near you (Tanjiro did well in a pinch due to his big-brother aura) and clung to your robes as long as he was awake. He cried himself to sleep in the first hour of being an infant, but otherwise was mostly calm when he was awake and near you.

Inosuke:

Inosuke began screaming when he changed (ow, ow, your ears), but luckily you were able to calm him down. He was just as stubborn as he was as a teenager, constantly wanting to wander off and arguing with you in angry baby-speak (which only consisted of a handful of words and your name).

Giyuu:

When he changed into a baby, he panicked and started to cry, but quickly calmed down when he realized you were near. He was a rather calm baby, easy to take care of and still very shy. He seemed regretful that he allowed this to happen and was prone to silent tears whenever he thought of it, but you could always make him bounce back by entertaining him to keep his mind off of it.

Kyojuro:

Kyojuro was surprised at first, but he quickly came to terms with it, intent on making your job as easy as possible. He was independent for a two-year-old, smiling up at you and patting your arm as he tried to reassure you that he's got this. (He did very much appreciate your help with things, though.)

Muichiro:

Muichiro immediately fell asleep, but when he awoke several hours later he was understandably upset about it. He sulked about his physical regression for a while until he went to you and hid his face in your chest. He was happiest when you were with him, although he still tried to do things by himself.

Shinobu:

Shinobu immediately started to cry, but quickly got ahold of herself and wiped her own tears away, trying to smile at you. When you told her it was okay not to smile like that, it immediately fell and she began crying again, frustrated and guilty. You just held her until she stopped, having cried herself to sleep. She was fairly easy to take care of, and while she was intent on doing her own things, she still appreciated your help in reaching things for her.

Gyomei:

Gyomei started crying, though it was quiet. You were used to it at this point, simply holding him until he stopped. Then he started talking to you, though his newfound clumsiness with his tongue only let him say a few words (one of them being your name). Then he cried again. He was easy to take care of, though he cried over everything (which really isn't that different from the usual, so it didn't bother you).

Sanemi:

Sanemi began crying loudly, angry and frustrated at the demon's clever trick and how they had gotten away in the confusion. You tried your best to comfort him, holding him close. He just hid his face away in your shoulder, ashamed at this predicament. He tried to keep to himself, stubborn and trying to forget this was even happening, but with a little coaxing he could open up more to you.

Akaza:

Akaza wasn't even sure how this had happened. He was an Upper Moon for heaven's sake; lesser demons never got a hit on him. This must've been a lucky hit (but he still swore he'd kill them for doing this). He accepted your cooing over him with mild embarrassment until the art wore off, then he waited for nightfall to track them down and kill them.

Douma:

Douma was unsure of what to do, his usually happy smile dropping for a few moments before he composed himself. He was pretty much the same as usual, only smaller (and preferring that you carried him around).

Kokushibo:

The strongest Moon was a sullen-faced infant as he informed you (with a baby's tongue) that he would kill the demon that did this to him with a quiet, determined voice. He tolerated your doting over him with a soft blush on his cheeks until it wore off, then he waited until nightfall to track them down and kill them.

Muzan:

Muzan let a few angry tears escape for the split-second that his calm façade broke, and then he wiped them away and excused himself so that he could deal with them personally. When he came back, he was still in baby form and covered in blood with an eerily calm expression. He went about business as usual until it wore off (although he didn't hold meetings with any of his underlings for the sole reason that he had an image to uphold).

Yoriichi:

Yoriichi panicked and began crying, but immediately stopped when you appeared and scooped him up. He clung to your robes and hid his face in your chest, unsure and scared of what was happening. When he calmed down, he looked the same as usual but, well, as an infant. No matter what you did, he didn't crack more than the same tiny smile he gave you while as an adult. He was an easy baby though; it didn't surprise you because of how independent he could usually be.
