Giving Them the Blue Spider Lily

A/N: Just for kicks and giggles: somehow you find the rare blue spider lily and decide, "hey, this'll be a neat gift for my s/o!"

Tanjiro:

Tanjiro doesn't recognize them at first, thinking they're just pretty flowers. But when word reaches Kagaya-sama and he summons the pillars (plus you and Tanjiro) for an emergency meeting, the truth comes out - and you're beyond shocked when you hear the truth of what this means for Muzan. The flowers are quickly destroyed, and a group is sent to the area where you found them in so that any others can be killed too.

Nezuko:

She's fascinated with the pretty blue color and decides to make a flower crown out of them, wearing them proudly on her head. It's all fun and games until they wilt a few days later, and when she wears the wilted crown on her head for the first time the demon you attack is nearly shitting bricks when they realize what the crown is made of.

Zenitsu:

He loves them and claims they go well with his eyes. He decides to keep the flowers in a vase on your kitchen table, and he stops to smell them lovingly every time he passes by. He's beyond depressed when they inevitably wilt.

Inosuke:

He's never seen a spider lily before, much less a blue variant of it, so he decides to press it and save it. It becomes his lucky charm, and he proudly shows it off to any Hashira you come across until Kagaya-sama gets wind of it and summons you for an emergency meeting. He warns you both to be careful with it, and while you're shocked that Muzan is looking for it, you feel a little relieved that it was just the one flower you found.

Giyuu:

Giyuu stops in shock, realizing that you've found what Muzan is looking for. He immediately reports it to Kagaya-sama, who tells him to destroy it - much to your sadness.

Kyojuro:

His smile drops clean off of his face when you present him with the flowers, and when he asks you where you found them, he goes with you to make sure others don't exist. While he appears grateful for the gift, he kills it soon afterward, reporting the find to Kagaya-sama.

Muichiro:

He knows exactly what the blue spider lily is, and so when you give him one of the blooms, he immediately drops his façade and tells you seriously that he can't accept it. You're shocked when you realize what it means for Muzan, and you agree to make sure that any blue blooms you find are swiftly killed.

Shinobu:

Instead of freaking out, she's overjoyed. The blue specimen is so rare that she's never gotten the chance to study it. With Kagaya-sama's permission, she does just that. She ultimately makes sure that the specimen is never discovered by demons, and that only a very select few know of your discovery.

Gyomei:

When you give it to him, you mention a pretty blue lily that makes him stop in his tracks. While he can't see it, your description sounds exactly alike to the flower Kagaya-sama warned them about, and he takes it in to the man to report it. It ultimately ends up dying.

Sanemi:

He wastes absolutely no time and hauls your ass directly to Kagaya-sama, and you end up spilling the beans about where you found them. He thanks you for being a good sport about it, and even though he has you kill the flower, he gifts you a bouquet of regular lilies as a thank-you.

Akaza:

Record scratch. Freeze frame. Yep, that's you. You're probably wondering how in the hell you managed to get into this situation. You have no idea either.

When Akaza takes you to his master, declaring that you found the Spider-Lilies he was looking for, Muzan doesn't even think twice before taking them, thanking him for bringing them to him. He decides to be generous and asks if you'd like to be turned in exchange for protection from the demons, but when you decline, he shrugs it off and heads to go use them to become the perfect demon.

Douma:

He freezes, smile in place. "Oh my... where'd you find this, little dove?"

It took him a second to recognize what they were, but when he realizes you were able to find the rare blue Spider-Lily, he figures it's good enough to give to Muzan and hands them over.

Kokushibo:

He stops dead in his tracks. "(y/n)... where did you find those flowers?"

When asking you about it proves fruitless (you weren't even paying attention and thought they were pretty, so you picked them and decided they were a good gift), he immediately thanks you for finding them and takes them away to give to his master. You were sure to get a nice surprise thank-you gift from the master of demons himself once he was able to conquer the sun.

Muzan:

HOLY FUCK. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT.

Muzan is flipping his entire shit when you present him with the flowers. What began as a nice gesture soon turns into him interrogating you on where in the absolute hell you found them. You can only respond that you only found the one bunch of flowers, and he immediately takes them and heads to his laboratory to properly utilize them. He may be salty as all hell that you found them first, but he is definitely not complaining when he comes up with a way to finally conquer the sun.

Yoriichi:

He recognizes the flowers immediately and freezes, questioning where you found them. When you answer that you just happened to find a bunch, he asks that you take him to where you found them so that you can both be sure that there are no more to find.

A/N: I lol literally every time I read the end chapter of the manga. Poor Muzan just can't catch a break, huh? Not even dead.
