If They Got Drunk

A/N: All minors are aged up. Note that the Kizuki won't be here, mostly because I headcanon that they can't... really... get drunk. Their bodies would neutralize the alcohol fairly quickly, I think. They'll be in the next chapter, though. Nezuko will be included, but only tentatively (mostly because of her unique mostly-human status).

Tanjiro:

Tanjiro is the clingy drunk.

Whenever Tanjiro drinks, he immediately changes into a weird imitation of Nezuko -- he doesn't want to leave your side and generally just wants a piggyback ride. It would be really cute if he didn't literally claw at your legs whenever you try to walk away.

Nezuko:

Nezuko is the angry drunk.

Granted, she doesn't get too rowdy, mostly because of her mixed biology now, but she does get more snappy at uppity people looking to rough someone up. If someone makes fun of Tanjiro when she's got alcohol on the brain, hoo boy, your ass is getting punted to Mars.

Zenitsu:

Zenitsu is the sleepy drunk.

Among everything, alcohol actually calms him down enough to lull him to sleep. So shocking. From getting scared enough to faint to just collapsing mid-battle, alcohol is one of the things that knocks him out. Granted, he doesn't start attacking people when he falls asleep. Actually, he just lies there. He can carry on a full conversation in his sleep, though, so that's something.

Inosuke:

Inosuke is the calm drunk.

Whenever Inosuke drinks alcohol, his demeanor takes a full 180. Suddenly he's the most level-headed (awake) person in the group, commenting snarkily on whatever bullshit events are going on in the typical life of a Shonen Protagonist.

Giyuu:

Giyuu is the giggly drunk.

Compared to his usual collected self, drunk Giyuu is way more chipper than you've ever seen him. He constantly laughs at everything and you can't get him to stop smiling -- it starts to get creepy starting at the fifth straight minute. It doesn't take just a few drinks to do it, either, oh no. Giyuu holds his alcohol like no one else that you've ever seen. It takes a full three bottles to get him tipsy.

Kyojuro:

Kyojuro is the soft drunk.

You actually kinda like when Kyojuro drinks, because he usually comes home super affectionate and cute. He always has to hug you as soon as he sees you, cooing about how much he loves you, how beautiful you are, how amazing you are, et cetera. He doesn't leave your side unless either you use the bathroom or when you put him to bed -- and even then, he falls asleep holding your hand to his cheek.

Muichiro:

Muichiro is the daredevil drunk.

Extremely ramped up from his usual bravado about throwing himself headlong into danger, whenever Muichiro drinks in front of people, he'll be 75% more apt to do whatever crazy stunts they want him to. They want him to do a dive off the cliff into the river? He's game. They want him to streak through the woods, shouting the lyrics to Gurenge? Hell yeah, that'll be a funny joke to play on any errant demon wanderers.

Shinobu:

Shinobu is the loud drunk.

Contrasting with her usual reticent self, when Shinobu gets drunk, she really lets loose. She has virtually no filter, from pointing out the obvious to flirting exaggeratedly with you. She blurts out stuff about the pillars like it ain't no thang, from gossip about Sanemi and Giyuu to secrets about Kagaya. She talks about Kanae a lot, and then gets awfully sad about it, so she usually runs to you for comfort (and boob pillows, she likes lying on you).

Gyomei:

Gyomei is the soft drunk.

He doesn't get super rowdy or sleepy like others do; rather, he gets even softer than he usually is. He cries virtually all the time now and always mentions how much he cares about anyone around himself... especially you. He likes to hold your hand and rub his thumb across the back of it, commenting on how tiny you are (but inoffensively, which is impressive for a man who's over 7 feet tall and stacked as fuck).

Sanemi:

Sanemi is the rowdy drunk.

As stated in previous chapters, Sanemi gets overly loud and giggly at everything. He's like the ultimate hype man. If you're feeling low about yourself, he'll be the one to confidently pump you up with a few shots. It's pretty cool when you're drinking alone with him, but in bars, it can get a little embarrassing.

Yoriichi:

Yoriichi is the clingy drunk.

He gets incredibly affectionate and clingy when he drinks -- which isn't that often, considering. He can hold his liquor pretty well, even better than Giyuu. You can hardly pry him off as he hugs you tight and whispers affectionate things, such as slurred "I love yous" and "I wanna marry yous". It's sweet at first, but it can get a little annoying the longer it goes on. Thankfully, he conks out soon after, and after he's tucked in, you can get some sleep yourself.
