Tanjiro:

You were playing with Nezuko, both of you giggling as you skipped through the grounds. Tanjiro watched from a distance, a soft smile on his face. You were so gentle and caring when it came to Nezuko, it genuinely felt as if he were viewing his own family again. No... you were family.

He blinked, feeling tears rising when you paused to scoop Nezuko up in your arms, holding her by the waist as she giggled uncontrollably, her flower crown drooping to one side on her head.

He discretely wiped them away as the two of you approached, the girl now perched on your shoulders. The two of you waved to him, all beaming grins. He smiled back, giving his own wave.

Nezuko:

Another night, another nightmare for Nezuko. She awoke with a start, head swiveling around until she noticed your bed on the other side of the room. Hurriedly, she ran to you, waking you up when she collapsed onto you.

You sleepily crooned to her, petting her hair. You began to hum a lullaby to calm her down, and she froze in your arms. It brought back memories of her mother, and she began to silently cry as you hummed.

Zenitsu:

Your poor boyfriend had been really on-edge lately, so you did your best to be there when he inevitably needed comfort. But now, as you battled, you found yourself comforting him off to the side. You'd accidentally thumped him pretty hard on the head with your leg when you'd leapt at an enemy, and one look at his tears made you pull him away. You apologized profusely, kissing his head and letting him cling to you.

Inosuke:

You both had to attend the funeral of one of your companions, one who'd become close to you as time went on. You stood tearfully at the grave while Inosuke stared down at it. Mixed emotions went through his head, confusion and sorrow.

When he took a look at you and saw you sniffling, he felt his own emotions bubbling to the surface. He'd eaten meals with this boy, he'd bathed with this boy, he'd slept in the same vicinity as this boy a few times too! And now he... he was dead? Gone forever? All because of a Kizuki?

He didn't even realize he was crying until he felt your hands on his shoulders, and you gave him a watery smile. You pulled him into a hug, and he reciprocated tightly, clenching his eyes shut so he didn't have to watch you watch him cry.

Giyuu:

Giyuu had been having a rough go of it, and when he lay down in his bed at your parents' home that night, he mumbled "Kami-sama, I wish I were dead." Little did he know, you'd heard it and had silently made your way over until you knelt beside him.

You asked him quietly if he really meant it, and at the desperate sadness in your voice he felt guilt wash over him. He sat up and hugged you tightly, apologizing. He started to cry when your hands ran soothingly across his back.

Kyojuro:

Only Kyojuro knew you were your softest in the wee hours of the night. You were your most affectionate, most loving, most reverent when you were in his embrace, tracing your fingers across his skin and tucking one hand into his golden mane.

On this night, you whispered sweet words to him, bathing him in attention as you pressed kisses to his face. You told him how much he meant to you, how much you couldn't wait to spend your life with him, and he felt tears prickling at his eyes at your confessions. He smiled softly at you, cradling your hand in his when you gave him your adoring gaze. He closed them when you leaned forward to kiss the tears away.
