Kissing You Unexpectedly

A/N: Boy do I love the short and sweet ones. I listened to a lot of I Want to Know What Love Is for the latest two chapters. It's almost embarrassing how 'in the mood' that song felt.

Tanjiro:

You were humming as you cut into an apple, a smile on your face as you worked. He just couldn't help himself - and when you looked up, sensing him approaching, he kissed you.

Your eyes widened and you squeaked out an incomprehensible response, your face turning beet red.

Nezuko:

You hadn't known she wasn't wearing her gag when she sat next to you, and when she smiled toothily at you, you had a split-second of shock before smiling back, patting her head.

In a move so smooth you still don't know where she got it from, she caught your hand and kissed your knuckles, making you fall back in a daze from your heart nearly pounding a hole through your chest.

Zenitsu:

Even though he was still incredibly shy about physical affection, Zenitsu still had his moments of boldness that you loved. Such a moment was today, when he marched up to you with a red face and trapped you against a tree, kissing you. You squeaked in momentary surprise, but very quickly got into the moment.

Before he could pull away to apologize, you grabbed him by the hair and pulled him right back in for another.

Inosuke:

You two have your moments of spontaneity that keep the relationship interesting; when you were getting ready for bed, brushing out your hair, he came over to your side of the room, sans mask, and pressed his lips to yours in a forceful kiss.

You were surprised for a moment, but honestly, you didn't mind at all. As soon as he pulled away and you could ask what spurred him to do so, he answered, "Just felt like it."

Giyuu:

By now, you were far enough into the relationship that you were seriously doubting your boyfriend's enthusiasm in it all. So when he trapped you against the wall of your family home one morning, one palm against it and the other cupping your cheek, pulling you in for a surprising kiss, it took you all of one second to grab him by the ponytail and enthusiastically reciprocate.

His face was beet red, more than yours was, but he seemed incredibly satisfied with himself afterwards.

Kyojuro:

It was one of those moments that perfectly lined up - you had Senjuro in your lap, fiddling with his ponytail, when your boyfriend came over, cupped his hand over his little brother's eyes (ignoring his surprised sound), and kissed you.

You both laughed when Senjuro voiced his protests, pouting at Kyojuro. He was quickly placated with a headpat.

Muichiro:

You could swear your boyfriend was like the mist itself sometimes. You could look away for one second and then poof - gone, only to reappear when you least expected it. You'd swear he got a kick out of it. Today seemed one of those days, as you looked around for him only for him to suddenly reappear before you and kiss you.

Before you had a chance to respond, the sneaky bastard disappeared again when you cupped your hands over your face in your sudden fluster.

Shinobu:

You had been feverish all that morning, drifting in and out of consciousness as Shinobu looked after you.

During one of your lucid moments, you were surprised as she pressed a gentle kiss against your forehead in a wish for you to get better quickly. Your face felt hotter than the fever currently ravaging your body.

Gyomei:

Your gentle boyfriend had you in his lap this evening, listening to you read to him from one of your favorite books. As you came to a lull and he heard you turning a page to the next chapter, he gently turned your face to lean down and kiss you.

You made a noise of surprise, but he felt you smile against him and kiss back, making his heart flutter in his chest.

Sanemi:

You were relaxing in the bath together after a stressful day. Sanemi was carefully kneading out the knots in your back as you rested your front against the rim of the bath, eyes shut in bliss.

Suddenly, you felt his lips against the nape of your neck - and you startled, turning to see his eyes half-lidded and soft, his hand grabbing the edge so that he could lean in closer for a better shot at your lips.

Akaza:

Despite all of his own doubts and insecurities, Akaza could be a very attentive, affectionate man. Tonight was one of those nights, as he held you in his arms under the stars. As you turned to him to point out a particularly bright star, he leaned in to kiss you deeply with one of those sweet smiles you loved so much.

Your eyes widened but you quickly shut them, eagerly kissing back as his hand squeezed your shoulder.

Douma:

You had begged and begged Douma to take you ice skating tonight, and finally, he acquiesced - and led you around a rink of his own design, smiling at your delighted laughter. As he spun you around in his arms, he held you up just enough to kiss you.

Your eyes widened, but you held his cheeks and kissed back, his cool touch causing your already-rosy face to redden further.

Kokushibo:

Another spar had ended in you forfeiting - as you lay beneath him with his knee pressing into your stomach and his sword at your neck, he surprised you with an out-of-character, heated kiss.

As shocked as you were, you weren't about to complain as you let go of your own sword to grasp at his hair, trying to pull him closer to deepen his sudden display of affection.

Muzan:

You hadn't been expecting a visit tonight; as you hastily poured him out a cup of tea, he took off his hat and jacket and crossed the room before trapping you in his arms, kissing you deeply.

You made a noise of surprise, but you kissed back as carefully as you could, one of his fangs pricking at your bottom lip.

Yoriichi:

You were pressing your hand to a wrapping on his chest, trying to stem the bloodflow from another nasty demon attack. Yoriichi himself was calm, almost too calm for the injury he sustained, and he eventually got you to stop panicking by pressing his lips to yours.

You froze for all of a second before kissing back, pressing him further into the futon as you hovered over him. You did end up sleeping in his bed that night, only because he gave you the Eyes. Nobody can resist the Yoriichi Puppy Eyes.
