Snowball Fight

A/N: I feel like December is so inundated with holiday and Christmas traditions that you never really get to appreciate January. So here you go! Right as January is over... ha... I didn't forget, I promise. Just had a really hard time writing this month.

Tanjiro:

It can get depressing being mostly alone in the house in the winter while your boyfriend goes out for work, but one morning he surprises you by calling you outside.

The second you exited the house, you were pelted in the face by a snowball. "--!!!"

"Snowball fight!" He yelled, eyes twinkling with boyish mirth as he stooped to gather loose snow for another.

"Oh you are on!" You hollered after a moment, swiping the excess away from your face and giving him a determined grin. "I'm gonna mop the ground with you!"

By the time you both exhausted yourselves, you were cold and your clothes were wet and soggy from the snow. You decided to go back inside for some hot tea and food, thoroughly wiped yet satisfied.

Nezuko:

It was your first winter as a couple, and a cold one at that - but one night, Nezuko poked you awake and led you to the window to show you the snow outside.

"Wow, it's snowing," you marveled, before looking over at your petite girlfriend with a mischievous grin. "You up for a snowball fight?"

Tilting her head at you, she seemed confused for a moment before she remembered, and with a sneaky giggle she grasped your hand and tugged you to get your warmest coat.

The two of you played outside until just before dawn, laughing and calling to one another as you pelted each other with snowballs.

By the time you came in, Tanjiro and Zenitsu were awake and drinking some tea. With a knowing smile, Tanjiro poured you a cup. "Have fun out there?"

Zenitsu:

You felt a little bad as you awoke your boyfriend with your excited chant of "Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow!" But despite his grumpiness, he couldn't stay upset with you for long when you begged him to go out to play in the fresh snowfall with you.

What started as walking in the drifts and marveling at the soft flakes turned into a snowball thrown at the back of his head. With a girlish shriek, he whirled around with a shout on his lips. "What was that for?!"

Giggling madly, you prepared to throw another.

You stayed outside for at least an hour alone just throwing snowballs, throwing until your clothes were soaked and you were shivering violently in each other's arms. When you came in, there was a fire in the hearth (no doubt from one of the Kamados) and after changing clothes, you curled up in a blanket in front of it together.

Inosuke:

A snowball to the boar face was what got his attention. "Hey! What the hell--?"

"Snowball fight!" You hollered, pelting him with another.

"You're on! I'm gonna beat you!" He shouted, before crouching down and gathering up enough snow for one big ball.

"Should we... y'know, intervene...?" Zenitsu murmured to Tanjiro, eyeing the two of you with mild disdain.

"They're having fun, I don't see why they should quit now." With a shrug, the boy cast him a smile. "Besides, Inosuke's been starved for attention lately. Let's let him have this."
