DRACO'S POV
I left the common room and made my way towards the room of requirement. I felt sick, but I had to get on with my task. I paced 3 times before the wall turned into a dark oak door. I pulled it open and walked into the room that was crammed with all sorts of old stuff. Of course, no one would suspect me in here.
I made my way through the piles of dusty old junk until I found the vanishing cabinet. I pulled of the cover to reveal it's fine details that were engraved.
"How the fuck am I supposed to fix this ?" I mumbled to myself.
I set to work, spending hours and hours searching for a spell to fix the bloody thing. Until I came across one, Harmonia Nectere Passus.
I spent almost all night trying to fix it and make the spell work. The faster I got this over with the better. Eventually I gave in and fell asleep on the sofa opposite the bloody thing.
I only had about two hours sleep when I was woken up by the passing of people in the corridors. Great. I was fucking late. I would have to skip first lesson so no one would see me walk out of this stupid room. Luckily I had potions next so Snape wouldn't ask too many questions.
For the remaining hour I carried on trying to fix the cabinet but everything seemed useless. Nothing seemed to make the slightest difference.
I gave up and made my way to potions. I arrived and luckily no questions were asked. Not even a glance was cast in my direction. I took my seat and realised that Y/N wasn't here. She probably skipped so she didn't have to see me. Didn't blame her.
The lesson dragged on. All I wanted to do was get out. Of course though, nothing ever went my way and Snape held me back.
"Where have you been ?" His monotone voice drawled.
"I was working on the cabinet and fell asleep"
"Don't let it happen again"
"Yes professor" I sarcastically smiled.
I walked out, towards the great hall ready to kill anyone that got in my way. I sat down with Crabbe, Goyle and Pansy. My least favourite people. Blaise was god knows where, so I was stuck listening to these three. I sat in silence, eating not intending at all to join in the conversation.
"Hi guys" Blaise said as he sat down, opposite me.
"Where have you been?" I sneered.
"Visiting Y/N in the infirmary, she's been throwing up pure blood, doesn't know what's wrong with her. Poor girls scared out of her mind."
I instantly felt myself pale. There was something wrong with her and I just left her. I got up and left the hall and apparated to the common room and ran to my room. I felt sick.
After throwing up I had no idea what to do with myself.
Y/N'S POV
After arriving at the hospital wing Madame Pomfrey had me stay there overnight so she could try and figure out what was wrong with me .She casts loads of diagnostic charms over me but nothing came up. Eventually I passed out and Madame Pomfrey decided to get Dumbledore.
"I think I may know, but we shall wait and see, you can send her on her way in the morning."
In the morning Madame Pomfrey gave me a blood replenishing potion and some pain relief before sending me back to my dorm. She told me it would be best if I rested for a day because I had lost quite some blood.
I slowly made my way back still feeling dizzy from the potions. I made my way up the stairs carefully and slowly. I got to the dorm and as my hand rested on the door knob I had the strong feeling I was being watched.
My head shot up from looking down at my hand and I looked to my left and there he was standing. He looked horrified. He just stood staring at me. I stood for a second debating if I should say something.
I looked away and opened the door and walked in, carefully closing the door behind me and sliding down it.
I felt something pushing on the other side and something sliding down the other side of the door. I wanted to burst into tears, but I couldn't seem weak.
Why did he have to do this to me ?
