Y/N'S POV
"Mum! Mum!" A little voice whispered.
I could feel someone shaking me, trying to wake me up. It couldn't possibly be time to get up yet. I didn't have work until later in the afternoon.
"Mum!" The voice continued to whisper in my ear.
"What do you want Scorpius ?" I groaned, rolling over so I was facing the small 9 year old boy who stood before me.
"I want to learn some spells mum" He whispered.
"What time is it ?"
"8 am" He mumbled.
"Oh Merlin. If you wake your father he is not going to be happy"
"I know, lets go" He said, grabbing my arm and pulling me from bed.
I quickly grabbed a cloak and my wand before kissing Draco who had been laying right beside me.
I followed my son downstairs, until we made it to a big room that was lined with mirrors. Scorpius squealed with delight and ran into the centre of the room, jumping up and down.
Merlin it was way too early for this.
I walked to the side of the room and opened a cabinet that held a few magical artefacts, one being a spare wand. I pulled it out and handed it to Scorpius who once again squealed with delight.
"Shhh. You'll wake your father"
Scorpius giggled and started to wave the wand in all sorts of spontaneous motions.
"What should we start off with ?" He whispered.
"What about a simple spell that levitates objects ?"
"But that's boring" Scorpius winded, "Can we learn a spell with fire. Father told me you can breath fire"
"He did what ?" I asked shocked. Of course it was true. But I strictly told Draco not to tell Scorpius stories like that because he'd want to learn them himself.
"Yes, he said he saw you do it" Scorpius smiled.
"Well, I'll be having words with your father when he wakes up"
"Uh oh. Have I just got him into trouble ?" Scorpius's face contorted with worry.
"No" I chucked.
Yes.
"I just need to talk to him"
"Okay. Can we learn some spells now ?"
"Yes, but no fire"
"Fine" Scorpius huffed.
I raised my wand and a jet of blue light came flooding out in the shape of a dragon, circling Scorpius before it vanished.
"Wow" He said, wide eyed, "How did you do that ?"
"Magic" I smirked.
Suddenly, someone was clearing their throat at the door and both our heads turned to see Draco leaning against the doorway, not looking impressed.
"Uh oh" Scorpius mumbled.
"What exactly are you two doing at this hour ?" He asked.
"Scorpius wanted to learn some magic"
"At this hour ?"
It's safe to say that Draco is not much of a morning person. At all.
"Apparently so" I mumbled, " He also tells me you've been telling him stories of how I can, How did you put it Scorpius ? 'breath fire'"
It was Draco's turn to gulp.
"I might have mentioned it" He mumbled.
"Draco, what did I tell you !"
"Don't tell him stories about your magic" He mumbled again.
"So what did you do ?"
"Told him stories about your magic"
It was my turn to mumble, "Bloody idiot"
Draco smirked and winked at Scorpius, causing him to giggle.
"You two are ridiculous!"
"Sorry mum" Scorpius mumbled, still trying to hide his smirk that so perfectly mirrored Draco's.
"Scorpius I think it's time to get back to bed" I told him.
He made his way toward the door and discreetly tried to fist pump Draco.
"I saw that"
He ran off to his room, giggling.
"Like father, like son" I mumbled.
"I heard that" Draco scoffed.
"Well it's true" I smiled, "You two are so alike, it's adorable"
I walked up to Draco, wrapping my arms around his waist and nestling my head into his chest. His arms instantly wrapped around me.
This was were I was supposed to be.
With my family.
