EDA STOPPED KNITTING and looked at the small capes, the one in her hands and the one on the table, one yellow and one purple, "Yeah... Yeah! Something tells me Ember and Luz are gonna like having a cape."
King looked up from his napping form, "Cape? I thought you were making cake!"
"You thought I was knitting a cake?" Eda raised a brow at King.
"I... uh... anyway! If there's no cake, then I have to get to work!" King jumped off the couch and rushed to the kitchen. "Would you look at us two, being all generous to those kids? You know what, when they first got here, I thought we were gonna eat them, but now I only think of that, like, sometimes."
King's clashing and clanging made two photos drop and Eda walked up to the two photos. "Yeah, both of them changed the feel of this house. Sure they've always had a good heart, but Luz was impatient and always bit off more than she could chew. And Ember is always there to save her, but can't accept the fact she also needs saving." Eda picked them up and looked at them. In one photo, Luz was competitively eating tentacles at a food race. And in the other, Ember held a small top hat that held a bunny insid. "But, despite all that, I think they've finally grown up."

"PLEASE DON'T NOTICE I'M GONE, please don't notice I'm— boarding the bus!?" Luz looked at her illusion in confusion as Willow taps Luz's shoulder. Luz yelps and turns around to see Willow, Gus, and Ember, "Oh... you guys! I... uh...."
Willow took out Luz's notebook, and thrusted it toward her. "You and Ember were planning on taking the healing hat, weren't you?" She interrogated, and the two girls shared a guilty glance.
Luz sighed and took the notebook, "You got us. But you don't understand. Eda has this curse and it's zapping away her magic." She hugged the notebook to her chest and looked despondent.
"No matter what, you can't steal this hat." Willow frowned, placing her hands on her hips.
"But, you can borrow it!" Gus exclaimed, grinning.
"Hey! I wanted to say that!" Ember jokingly smiled before facing Luz, "I told them about Eda's curse with the help of your notes, they're totally gonna help us!"
Luz smiled softly at her friends. "Thanks, guys. I know exactly what we've gotta do," Luz smirks, wrapping an arm around Ember's neck. "It's time for a heist!"
