"THE BOILING ISLES is named after the raging hot water of the Boiling Sea, and is composed of the bones of a fallen Titan. This original magic was so potent, all life on the Isles evolved to wild magic too. For years, we explored those power freely alongside hybrids of human and witch." King was flipping through the pages as he informed Luz.
"Until, a mysterious Witch appeared who declared that he, and he alone, could speak to the Island and that hybrids were freaks who needed to be discarded." King read off the pages, making Luz flinch slightly at the thought of what he did to hybrids, "He said that we were using magic all wrong. His teachings took hold, his strength grew, and he became Emperor Belos."
"Belos said that mixing magic was wrong, that only he had that right. So he created the coven system. And there, our knowledge was restricted, and our potential sealed away. Those who resist are called wild witches, and they face harsh punishment, the Guardian is one of the punished. Emperor Belos has since retreated into his castle, there are whispers that say he's planning something big. I wonder if catching Eda and Ember was part of his big plan. What do you think, Luz?" King looked over to the window sill, where Luz sat. "Luz?"
Luz looked down at her arms, pretending she were in someone else's who had once given her a world of comfort. She then looked at the cape in her hands and the one next to her that each had a tag. 'To a young witch from her proud mentor, -Eda' Luz's tag read. She sighed as she looked at the cape once again, the yellow one next to it making her frown.
"I don't care what Belos is up to, because today, I'm saving Ember and Eda!" Luz put on the cape, standing up with a brave glare. She did a heroic pose, but this time. It wasn't for fun.

LUZ OPENED THE CLOSET DOOR and walked inside. King poked his head inside. "Luz, what are you doing?"
"This is serious, King!" Luz took a huge ax from the wall, but it was too heavy for her to carry so she slammed it back onto the desk. "Eda used all her power to save me and Ember just wanted to saved Eda and they both got caught by Lilith! Now she's the Owl beast and is being taken before the Emperor! I don't know what he's planning to do with those two, but I'm going to rescue her." Luz took a dagger and looked at King, who had walked inside.
"Haven't you been listening to me? He's the Emperor! He's the most powerful witch alive!" King exclaimed as he showed Luz the book.
Luz crouched to King's level, "King, please try to understand. Both of them are in this situation because of me. Because of my stupid choice. I have to make up for it."
