IT WAS AN EARLY MORNING, except, it was now different from the usual. Many things were running through the minds of Luz and Ember. What they've just been through, their adventure of a lifetime. Ember lies on her side, her arm on her forearm as she slightly drools onto it as Luz sits up, now awake.
Luz gasped awake, looking around before smiling excitedly. "It wasn't a dream!"
"Huh? What's up?" Ember said, rising into a sitting position with her curly bed head and droopy eyes turning to look around to the room as Luz scurries towards the window.
"Good morning, terrifyingly fantasy world!" Luz exclaims happily before the lake monster waved at her.
"Good morning!" It said before departing back into the ocean. Ember raises an eyebrow as she stands up and watches her friend.
Luz slightly shuddered before walking up to Ember, greeting her with a warm embrace, "Morning, Ember," Luz says before Ember mustered a tired smile and squeezes back tightly. Luz then going to where King was, and picked him up, and kisses him, a lot. "Good morning to you too, cutie pie!"
"I am not your cutie pie!" King exclaims.
"Yes you are," Luz hugged him before placing him down.
King huffed before laying on his stomach. "I know," he said after closing his eyes to light back-scratching by Ember. King hummed in disappointment as Ember had stopped to put on her casual gray hoodie over her lavender tank top, putting her curly hair in a lazy ponytail, and headed towards the living room.
Ember then saw Luz, who was wearing a witch's rob and hat with a wide grin and excited look in her amber eyes.
"Where did you find those?" Ember asks, rubbing her eyes.
"In the hallway closet! Here, I think you should have one of these as well!" Luz says as she gave Ember a matching witch hat.
Ember laughed softly and smiled as she placed the hat on her head. "Thank you!"
A yawn then was heard at the top of the stairs. It was Eda, who had a major case of bed hair.
"Good morning, Eda the Owl Lady. We are ready for our first day of apprenticeship!" Luz says as she and Ember fist bumps the air.
Eda yawns again, well, it was sort of a soft scoff as she shook her hands, sending off a bunch of small spiders. "Who are you two again?"
