LUZ LOOKED AT ALL OF THE guards she had trapped, making sure they're all out before she then ran off. Luz stopped at a huge door that had a small lock on it.
"King, watch the door," Luz whispered. King nodded in response as Luz walked up to the lock and placed an Ice Glyph on it. The glyph quickly froze and broke the chains to the lock, opening the door.
Luz walked inside, activating a light orb and walking inside. Luz then saw Eda, and proceeded to call out her name. When she reached her, though, Eda whacked her away with her wing. Eda was still in her beast form and reached out for Luz to try and attack her.
Luz quickly held up a light orb, "Eda, wait! It's me! It's me..." Luz exclaimed as Eda regained consciousness.
"Luz? Oh no, oh no, no, no, no, no wh- what are you doing here?" Eda exclaimed, her heart racing as she looked down at her apprentice.
"It's okay, Eda, I'm here to save you! Where's Ember?" Luz asked as she put a fire glyph on the chains, but it did nothing.
"Your magic isn't strong enough for this, you need to leave! Now." Eda pleaded, nudging Luz back to the door but Luz pushed her hand away.
"But, but I can't! It's my fault you needed to save me," Luz tried the fire glyph again. She failed. "It's my fault you and Ember got captured." She tried again and again, but all of them failed.
Eda placed Luz's face into her hand, effectively stopping her, "No. Listen to me. I'm here because of my own actions. I went against Belos's law, and for a while, I was able to get away with it." Eda let go of Luz, smiling softly. "But, ah without magic, I can't do much. I don't regret anything. I lived freely, and I got to meet you and Ember."
"Eda..." Luz whimpered as Eda held back her tears, upholding her strong facade.
"But if you stay here, I won't be able to protect you. You need to leave. And get Ember out of here! I don't know why Belos wants her, but you have to find her." Eda dropped her hand, but Luz quickly caught it.
"But we're a family! Us weirdos stick together, remember?" Luz began to tear up as she leaned her face on Eda's hand.
Eda frowns as digs into her fur and pulls out a key. She pressed onto the eye of it and the Human Realm door appeared. "You and Ember have a family already. Go back to them." The door opened to show the grassy area.
