LUZ SAT WITH KING, learning about new demons as Ember sat across the room with Amity, learning new spells. It was a nice way to start off the weekend, having a friend come over to hang out.
"And when you create a small abomination..." Amity explained as Ember zoned out for a moment, fixated on Amity's face and somewhat on her hands. "...and that's all! Now you try, Em." Amity smiles at Ember, making her fluster up at the sight.
Ember quickly blushes and clears her throat, nodding. "Alright, so..." Ember hastily raises up a hand, attempting a spell circle to create an abomination. A small purple blob appears from the ground, standing for a moment before melting into goo on the floor. Ember groans, falling onto her back, "Oh, stars, I'll never get it."
Amity laughs, scooting over to Ember's face, "You've just gotta keep trying. You'll get it eventually." Amity encourages with a light pink fluster dusted across her cheeks.
"But we've been practicing for almost two hours, Amity." Ember groans in a playfully overdramatic tone, slightly grinning at Amity.
Amity laughs, smacking Ember's shoulder lightly before standing up, "C'mon. When have you ever quit anything?"
Ember narrows her eyes at the mint-haired witch as she sighs, nodding knowingly at her friend before standing up, "One more try and then I'm done for the day and we can go to the library, 'kay?" Ember asks her friend, placing a hand on her hip. Amity nods with a smirk, gesturing for Ember to go.
Once again, Ember raises her hand to perform the abomination spell. A small yellow hole appears on the ground as a small abomination comes out with it, not turning to goo this time.
"Oh. My. Stars! Amity, I did it!" Ember squeals, gaping at the abomination before hugging Amity who shyly hugs back with a burning face.
"Way to go, Ember!" Luz cheers, clapping for her best friend as the said best friend walks over to them.
"Good job, Emmy!" King compliments, looking at the brunette proudly as he raises his hand for Ember to high-five.
Ember slaps their hands together, smiling, "Thanks, King!" Ember giggles before grabbing her bag and turning back to Amity, "To the library, m'lady?"
Amity blushes once again, nodding as she opened the door for Ember. The two girls wave at Luz and King before heading out the door.
