'Anyone Else Kinda Sketched Out'

Just so you are all aware, the witches forest series will be in quite a few parts. So this is part 1/7 of The Witches Forest

The next week goes quick. I have girls night where we watch musicals and eat junk food. Colby and I also had a date night which was super nice.

I'm currently in my apartment cooking dinner when I hear the door open. I look over to see Colby and Sam who's holding a camera, which means this is something to do with that cabin
"No nope whatever your about to ask me the answer is no"
"Ok so Colby will just go and see Jennifer on his own then" Sam says turning to walk off
"Wait. Fine. I'm coming" I turn off the oven and walk out locking the door behind me. We walk over to Jakes apartment and knock the door. He answers the door without a shirt on and immediately shuts the door on us after seeing the camera
"Well that was rude" I slightly shout. Jake opens up the door once again. Jake goes to get a shirt on and we head over to Colbys car. I sit in the back with Jake while Colby drives us to a park. Corey didn't answer his phone so he hasn't come with us.

"Anyone else kinda sketched out?" I say grabbing on to Colby once he's out the car
"I heard people do drugs in parks at night" Jake says with a straight face, sometimes I wonder if he takes crack before we see him or if that's generally how he is
"Ok but seriously what's the percentage of us us getting killed?" Sam asks
"I mean I'd like to at least walk down the aisle in a wedding dress"
"So after that it's fair game?" Sam laugh
"Look we're in the streets so we should be fine"
"Are we doing drugs at the park?"
"Shut.. no" Colby says probably thinking what I've been thinking about Jake all this time. We then see Jennifer sat at a bench
"Yo. What's up" Sam calls out
"Hey"
"It's good to see you again"
"Yeah you as well" Sam hugs her
"Hey. I'm still sorry about how I acted"
"No don't be silly" I smile at her. Thank goodness she's not bitter about how I was at the Stanley because I honestly would be. We sit down at the bench and Jennifer explains how her grandpa has a cabin in forest called witches forest
"The land was owned by a rancher. He would send his workers out there to the cabin to check on the land you know to make sure everything's in shape, but the workers would take that as an opportunity to get prostitutes to go to the cabin for an all nighter with some friends. Then in 1940 a prostitute died"
"In, in your cabin or in a cabin?" Sam asks as Colby shows the camera him
"In mine. No ones ever there"
"Just because their to scared to be there or?" Colby moved the camera back to Jennifer
"Yeah"
"Oh god" I whisper and shiver. We chat a little longer, she talks about how she would see dark figures outside her window at night. Jennifer then gives us the key to the cabin. She told us about a friend who lives around there who is a Wiccan who will be able to meet up with. We say our goodbyes and she warns us to be careful.

We get back to our apartment complex and all go to Sams. I flop on the couch and Colby sits next to me as Sam holds the camera and Jake sits in the chair opposite
"Alright what the fuck was that?" Sam asks
"I don't know. She was alone in the park"
"I had and still do have weird vibes. Like she seems lovely but like this whole thing seems sketchy. I dunno I kinda have a bad feeling like somethings gonna go wrong" I sigh
"And when we were walking away she told us to be carful and that it was scarier than the Stanley Hotel" Colby pulls me into him and holds me tights
"I take that as a challenge" Jake says clapping his hands as if he was dusting them off "we're not some douche bag men. We're from Kansas. Camping pfft. We can do that easily man"
"We're Kansas douche bags" Colby puts his hood up
"Yes, yes you are" I say agreeing with them
"Hey your from Kansas as well" Colby nudges me
"Yeah but I'm also half Spanish and we ain't dumb idiots. We have common sense"
"Truuue" Sam drags out

"Dude she said it's worse than the Stanley and so much happened" Colby says seriously
"Like the lolly pops moved. The photos of the kid" I say as I sit back up
"Oh dude she said she saw shadow people outside her window" Colby nervously smiles and laughs
"Oh god. Remember Corey told the psychic about the shadowman?"
"Yeah?" Sam replied to me
"Well what if the shadow people live in witches forest and Corey's going to have something happen to him?" I say kinda scared
"Bro didn't she say that you and Corey have something coming up in the future? Maybe this is it"
"I mean I guess Sam but I dunno" I shrug
"Let's not tell Corey that there's shadow people there" Jake says with a straight face knowing that Corey won't come with us
"What worries me is that I've see shadows as well and the psychic said Corey will see something from his past and I have something coming up linked to him"
"I mean look at it this way. What's more important Corey and Talias safety or the views" Jake sighs
"Oh definitely the views" Colby looks at me while I frown 
"The views for sure" Sam laughs
"Oh gee thanks guys" I chuckle "saying that I kind of agree. Get that click bait"
"That's my girl" Colby pulls me back to him making the others laugh "I do have a tent that we can stay in"
"You want us to stay in a tent in the middle of nowhere? Amor are you serious?" I look up at him
"But like we can leave and go to the cabin if we feel unsafe"
"I can't believe I'm agreeing to this. I have Blair witch project and cabin in the woods vibes" I sigh
"So dude you down for pitching a tent?" Colby asks Jake
"What are we doing?" Jake looks at us blankly
"How are you here in every conversation but you just don't listen?" Colby says causing Sam and I to laugh
"I can just imagine that monkey with the symbols in Jakes head" I laugh
"I- I dunno man, my, I just like, I dunno man, my mind just goes somewhere else man I dunno what the hells happening"
"Are you high? Like bro you sound high right now" I laugh
"I dunno man" Jake shrugs
"He's on another planet I swear" I shake my head at the camera.

"I say let's get every thing ready" Sam says. We head over to Colbys apartment because all the stuff is at his. As the boys get lamps and things sorted I sit in the couch on my phone
"You gonna help?" Sam asks
"I am. I'm supervising" Colby chuckles and rolls his eyes
"Should we look at any rituals?" Colby asks siting down next to me
"You know any? Your the ritual guy" I ask as Colby picks up his laptop
"Sams best friends with the midnight man" I laugh at Jake
"Are you kidding me?" Sam points to the camera to himself smiling and holding his thumb up "I think we should do something new because I know Corey won't be down for a seance"
"Should we call Corey?" I ask
"Err yeah" Colby puts his laptop down and Skypes Corey

"Brother" Colby slightly yells as Corey's drinking some orange juice "did you get Sams text earlier about witches forest?"
"No?"
"I thought you texted him"
"I did"
"Brother a random numbers trying to call me"
"Hang up on that shit brother" Jake says
"Dude a random numbers calling him again"
"Nooo brother"
"Can we stop saying brother" I yell
"Can I tell him about you know?" Jake asks
"Yeah you tell him"
"Ok we're going to witches forest brotherrrr" it's silent for a bit before Sam then explains meeting up with Jennifer and how we have the key to the cabin. Corey refuses to come with us but we decide to still go to the witches place.
