'We've Come A Long Way'

I walk outside where everyone is hanging out
"What's going on?" I ask
"Kevin has those super hot gummy's" Kat says pointing to Kevin "Griffin is gonna eat one"
"Ok Griffin thinks he can eat anything that's hot" Kevin points the camera to Griffin and Xepher. "Xephers going to try a bit as well and Corey's going to eat 3, Sams going to eat 4, Reggies going to pull one out of his butt and Talia is going to try a one as well" I start laughing at Kevin
"That's the best joke I've heard all day. I will literally throw up. I hate hot things" they get out the gummy bears
"This is such a bad idea" Kevin says
"No it's a great idea" Sam tells him making me shake my head. They all take one and try it. Kevin stands up not long later
"Have you got milk?"
"No we literally ran out this morning, I made mac and cheese for tea" I laugh
"Are you serious? How are you two doing?" Kevin asks Griffin and Xepher
"Pretty good. It's fine"
"Really?"
"I can feel it in the back of my throat but I'm chilling for now" Xepher says
"Ok they can't be that bad then if Xepher is ok. Let me try 1" I say
"Just do half" Devyn says as Xeph passes me a knife. I cut one in half as everyone watches me. I put it in my mouth a chew
"See fine" I shrug so I put the other half in
"Bad idea" Griffin smirks
"Oh god" I start to feel the heat in my mouth "I can't swallow this"
"I bet you've never said that before" Kevin points at me "hey Colby" he yells
"Kevin stop" I whine at him making him chuckle "your gross" I spit the gummy out in my hand. Sam hands me a tissue "but that's awful" I stand up as Xepher does
"I swallowed it now it's really kicked in"
"We need water" Kevin gets on his hands and knees and me and Xeph run in to get a drink. I move Colby out the way as I pour Xeph and I a drink
"What did you guys do" Colby laughs wearing just his jogging bottoms
"A stupid thing" I say gasping. Reggie comes in to the kitchen with the camera as Xepher and I are downing a cup of water
"Update?"
"Terrible" Xepher laughs
"I'm gonna throw up"
"Don't throw up" Reggie looks at me disappointed as I lean on the counter top. Colby rubs my back while he's still laughing. Kevin runs in and goes to the fridge as the others come in
"She says she's gonna be sick" Xepher says to Sam and Devyn
"I hate hot things"
"Why did you do it?" Reggie laughs
"Yeah babe you know you can't handle anything hot, well except me" I glare at Colby
"I thought I'd be ok because Xepher was at first so I had the whole gummy"
Kevin pours some water in a glass. I then pour some more in my glass
"I'm just going to keep drinking this" Xepher takes another sip of her drink
"I'm just worried I'm gonna have to shit this out in a couple hours"
"A couple hours?" Colby questions Kevin
"I'm legit gonna throw up" I say over the sink
"Please don't" Xepher says "it will make me throw up" Kevin then shoots off to the bathroom
"Reggie Kevin's yacking in the bathroom" Jake says, when the fuck did he come in the house? Hearing this though makes me heave in the sink. Xepher runs to go to another bathroom
"Oh god. They're all throwing up" Colby says laughing
"Can someone find me a hair tie" I ask heaving. Colby runs up to our room to find a hair tie. He runs back down the stairs and ties my hair up while he continues to laugh
"It's not funny"
"Err yeah it is. I don't know why you did this" finally the burning leaves my mouth and I stop throwing up. I wash out the sink and we all head back outside. Griffin was chilling the whole time
"I hate you Griffin"
"What? What did I do?"
"Nothing that's the point. You were fine the whole time while me Kevin and Xepher were throwing up"
"I only threw up because you and Kevin did"
"Yeah yeah whatever" I sit back down on the couch.

A while later we were all telling each other some of our most embarrassing stories. Kat just told us the time she slipped running across the pool side at the old trap house in front of Sam now it's my turn
"Talia what's the most embarrassing thing you've done?" Corey asks
"Oh errrm, I fell down the stairs once at the old trap house and landed on Elton?"
"Oh come on thats weak" Reggie shouts
"We already knew that anyway. I'm sure you have something really juicy" Tara says
"I might have but it's not just my embarrassing story. It's Colbys and Nates as well"
"Ahhhh it's a good one" Kat squeal
"Go on babe tell them what happened" Colby gives me a cheeky smile
"Ok so when we were like 15 I hadn't had my first kiss and my ex had asked me to the dance and I was scared. I confided in Sam and Colby about this. Sam told me to grow a pair and just kiss my ex. That same night I was hanging out with Colby at his. Now bare in mind Sam, Colby, Eli, Nate and I were all and are still super close so we would just walk into each other's houses like they were ours. They just wouldn't bust through my door before knocking though. Anyway I was still nervous so Colby suggested that I kiss him to ya know help my nerves. Well the kiss kinda went further and basically we were each other's first times, but Nate walked in on Colby and I just after we finished and saw everything and I mean everything. We haven't talked about it since that day" my face turns bright red with embarrassment
"Oh my god you and Colby were always meant to be" Cassie squeals
"Ok ignoring the fact Nate walked in on you guys but that's actually so cute you were each others firsts" Kat says
"Wow how the fuck have you both and Nate not somehow blabbed about that"
"Honestly because of Talia" Colby looks at me and smiles "she was embarrassed by the whole thing so we both said we wouldn't talk about it again"
"Ughh romantic as fuck" Tara puts her hand on her head pretending to faint
"How is having someone walk in on you seeing you both butt naked romantic?" I question
"No not that but like how Colby respected you not to tell anyone not even Sam and now your engaged and happily do the dirty with your friends in the room next to you"
"You guys are so in love it makes me sick, I'm so fucking lonely" Kevin says laughing
"You'll find her and when you do she will fit right in with us as if she's always been here" I say smiling
"I couldn't imagine if any of you girls hated each other" Jake says
"I know imagine if Talia and Kat were enemies" Corey laughs
"Actually there was a time we didn't really get on all that well" Kat says
"What?" Griffin looks like his eyes are about to pop out of his socket
"Yeah I mean I was just looking out for Sam, but when I saw he loved her and she loved him I knew it was real and who am I to stand in the way of true love. I was never horrible we just weren't friends but now look at us"

"That we have" I hug Kat and we carry on talking about embarrassing stories and funny things from our childhood.
