Tonight is the night the boys have gone to Cerro Gordo for their next series. As I'd be alone in the house Colby told me to have the girls over for the night, although I won't be able to stay up like I used to we are eating snacks and look at wedding things as Colby and I have finally set a date. That whole 4 year plan doesn't matter because either way Colby and I are getting married and having kids maybe sooner than expect but it was gonna happen at some point. Obviously right now is our time.
"What about this one?" Kat shows me her phone "Hmmm no" I shake my head "What about this one" Tara shows me another photo of colour ideas for the wedding "I just think a nice soft pink and light grey" I sit up from my lying down position "When are we dress shopping?" Devyn asks "Not yet. We decided next year after the baby has been born because I'm just gonna get super fat in a couple months" "When are you telling the fans?" Tara asks "Next week I'll be 14 weeks then" "Do you think your gonna find out the gender?" Cassie asks "No we want it to be a surprise" I shrug "And to think nearly a year ago you were scared of marriage and kids" Tara says "Ok hold up. I was never scared of that, just scared to not have my mamá and abuela" "Speaking of them have you heard any noises or anything?" Xepher asks "No" I sigh "but in that dream I had they did say goodbye for now" "I still can't believe you found out through Corey's mom" Cassie laughs "To be fair I had been given a few hints leading up, I just presumed that the psychics were telling me we would have kids in like a year not now" "What I'm confused about is how you were on the pill though" Kat says "Yeah but remember when I was off it while I waited for a new one?" "I thought you said you were being careful?" Tara laughs "Errrm anyway back to wedding colours" I say making all the girls laugh "I feel like everyone goes for like blush and rose gold" "See how she's just dodged that comment Tara" Xepher laughs "Remember when she said the universe just wanted her to be pregnant, that's literally what happened" "Girls help, please" I throw myself backward on the couch "Ok ok. So no pink" Kat says grabbing a note book off the table "I dunno, like I do like the pink but it's Colby's wedding as well so I don't want it to be just pink" "What about black and pink?" Xepher says looking on her phone. She shows me a picture "No I don't like the bright pink and I think black is to dark" "Ok what about the light pink and grey?" Tara shows me her phone "No" I sigh "I'm never going to find the perfect wedding colour scheme" "What about this?" Cassie shows me her phone. I gasp "That's it, that's the colour scheme" I jump up and squeal "Ok so now we need to think of a venue. Do you want to get married in a church?" Devyn asks "Errrm I don't think so" "Oh god tonight's going to be a long night" Tara groans.
The next morning I wake up with papers everywhere. I run to the bathroom not only to throw up but I'm gonna pee myself. I finish my business and go over to the kitchen taking my phone off charge and see a message off Colby. I reply to his text, then when the girls wake up we all get dressed and do a little photo shoot then I head over to Brennens to film a 'we tested viral tik tok cooking life hacks video'.

"Welcome back to the cooking life hack show. Today I'm joined with Talia. If you don't know who this is, this is my boyfriend Colby Brock's fiancé. Now it's time to test if these life hacks are real or if they're fake. There's only one way to find out, come on let's test them" Brennen yells "God I come here thinking I'm gonna get a break from Jakes yelling but your just as bad" I giggle "Come on let's go" brennen takes us into his kitchen in his apartment. We watch our first tik tok where we are basically making pizza rolls "Ok so we have put on our sauce. Next we need pepperoni" "Yeah keep that away from me" "What you don't like the smell?" "Not recently no" I try to hint at Brennen without being to obvious "Ok now grab your cheese stick, it could be a string cheese and place it in the middle" I open up a spare one and start eating it as brennen rolls the egg roll. He places some oil in a pan and then the pizza rolls "ok Talia stay back because Colby will actually kill me if you have any marks on you and oil spits" "More like Colby will kill me if you get burnt" I laugh as we wait for the pizza to cook. A few minutes later they are done, we let them cool a little before trying them "Ok 3, 2, 1" we take a bite and it's pretty good "Ok so it's good, but it's nothing to go crazy at. Just tastes like pizza" "What?" Brennen yells out of shock "ok imma say this now and I'm going to stand by this forever. This is the best pizza roll I have ever had" "Eh" I shrug "I mean it's good yeah but like I've been doing something similar for years with a tortilla wrap" "Ok this one is a success. But I think the next hack will blow your mind"
Brennen gets out a Frappuccino and shows us a hack that is meant I make it more like an iced coffee "Sorry Talia you can't have this one" "Errrm yeah I can, well I can have a sip" "So the hack is we turn this over and tap it 3 times should we do a 4th for good luck?" "Yeah go for it" "It should now be like a slushy" Brennen pours out the coffee into a glass and it's just like a regular coffee "Maybe if you had put it in the freezer for a bit, but then you wouldn't have to tap it I guess" I take a sip then pull a face "I haven't had coffee in weeks and I forgot what it's like, bit strong" "Ok well this hack has been busted we were lied to, all of us"
We carry on filming until we get to our last hack which is cloud bread. Brennen shows me the clip and I'm kinda excited "I feel like we're gonna mess this up" I laugh "Talia do you want to crack the eggs, but using the bottle life hack" "You know it's so much easier and more convenient to just use the shell" I raise a brow "Just do the hack" "Ok ok" I hold my hands up laughing. I have a go but split the egg yolk. I then do it the normal way where I use the shell and it comes out perfectly "see no need to use a bottle" "Ok next we need to whisk it. I've never been good at whisking but I'm just assuming you do this" "Ewww that sounds horrible" I put my hands over my ears "Get your dirty mind out of the gutter" brennen yells as if he's telling me off. Brennen carries on whisking the eggs until they are white. He adds in some cornstarch and sugar "Isn't this just how you make meringues?" I ask "I don't know is it?" "I think so. How's it going to make bread without flour?" "That's what I'm wondering" Brennen continues to mix until it's time to add in colour and finally put on the baking tray "I really hope this works but I think it's just going to make a meringue" "Well let's bake this and see in a bit what it's like" brennen puts it in the oven. While we wait we just catch up. A few minutes later it's done and Brennen takes it out of the oven "oh wow it actually looks like bread but I'm scared when I pick it up it's going to turn into foam "I'm not hopeful on this one. I think it's just a meringue. Can I rip it?" "Yeah go for it" "Oh my" brennen says as I rip the 'bread' "it looks fluffy. It smells salty and eggy" "Eww" "Here smell" I smell it and gag "That's horrible. I'm not trying that" brennen tastes it "It's like a marshmallow texture but it tastes like sweet eggs" "The problem is, if you were making meringue then you wouldn't of added in the cornstarch and cooked it more. This is just shit to be honest" "So this life hack is busted. After having some food with brennen I head back home to the house, which might I add is very lonely because the boys aren't here, but hopefully I can get a good night sleep in before being reunited with the boys tomorrow.
