"Hey amor I'll be back in a minute I just need to grab something from my apartment" I say walking out of the bathroom with wet hair into the bedroom where Colby is stripping the bedsheets "So your gonna leave me after sex? Wow didn't think I'd ever have to worry about a woman doing that to me again" Colby chuckles "Shut up. I'll be back in a minute I just need something" I quickly grab my keys off the kitchen table and go to my apartment and find Colby's presents hidden in my underwear draw. I take them out and go back to Colby's apartment. Colby has just finished loading everything in the washer as he's putting the washing powder away "Happy anniversary baby" I say handing him his gifts "You didn't have to get me anything" "I know but I wanted to, now open them" I smile at Colby he chuckles as he opens the first present which so happens to be the aftershave "I'm guessing you'll want to borrow it to spray your pillow" "You know me to well. Now open the others" next he opens the Gucci belt and then the ring "Thank you babe I love them" colby hugs me and kisses my head "let me go and get you your present" "But you bought the ring Colby you.." "Shhh now wait here" I smile and roll my eyes as Colby walks into his bedroom. He walks out holding an Amazon box in his hands. I take the box and go to put it on the table "wait not on there. Bad luck" I look at him confused walking over to the couch. I open up the box and see a few different things wrapped up. The first one I pick up is wrapped in gold wrapping paper "I'm guessing you had help wrapping these up?" I laugh "Err yeah Kat helped" I unwrap the first present to see a small Chanel handbag "Oh my god Colby. You seriously shouldn't have. Where have you found the money for this? Like the car wasn't cheep and then the engagement ring must have cost a fortune and now this. Are you dealing drugs?" I'm so shocked that Colby had bought me all this "To be fair I actually bought the engagement ring last year but you were still healing from your Mama and Abuela. Then when I thought it was the right time you got sick for weeks" I laugh remembering how I had the flue for 2 weeks then the whole friendship group caught a bug so we were all ill "then I spoke to Sam and he said to wait till Christmas but obviously that was a difficult time for you as it had been a year since they passed away so now we're here. It's been a year in the making but I can finally see the most beautiful girl on earth wearing a symbol of my love on her finger" I smile sweetly at him "Thank you. Not just for all of this" i motion to the ring and presents "but for loving me throughout some of the hardest times. Thank you for being by my side even when I tried to push you away. I love you so much" "That's what unconditional love is princess. I love you too. Now open the rest of your gifts" Colby had bought me a couple face masks, some perfume, a Charlotte tilbury lipstick and a pair of healed boots. After the gift exchange we face time Colbys family who of course congratulate us then we watch a couple episodes of the vampire diaries before it was time to head over to Sams. We of course being fashionably late. I decide to take my ring off at first so the girls don't see it straight away. I'll put it on halfway through the evening when no one is paying attention.
We walk in and Kat is the first to run up to us "Happy anniversary you guys" she pulls me over to the couch to the other girls "Did he get you any gifts?" Tara asks "Yes we opened them a few hours ago" I chuckle seeing the girls faces drop a little not seeing a ring "So what did he get you?" Devyn asks "A Chanel hand bag which I wasn't expecting at all, some perfume, some boots and a Charlotte tilbury lipstick" "Awww and was that it? No jewellery?" Cassie asks "No" I shrug "So what happened at the Stanley?" Xepher asks "Well..." I proceed to tell them everything, from the psychic to Jennifer to the photos that Corey took on his phone. Of course purposely missing out the whole engagement thing. A few hours later and catching up with everyone pizza has arrived. I quickly go to the toilet and slip my ring on then head back to the kitchen "What are we talking about?" I say walking up to Colby "About Brennens mystery girl" Jake wiggles his eyebrows "Ooo. Tell me more" I lean my head on my hands facing Brennen "It's nothing we've just been on a few dates and she seems really sweet so I'll just see how it goes" I reach over to take a slice of pizza "Oh my god" Kevin says looking at me "Sorry dude here have the pizza" I go to hand it back to him "No it's not that" Kevin smirks "you little liar" "What?" I smile at Kevin "You said you had only got Talia a bag, perfume, lipstick and boots for your anniversary" Kevin walks around to me "you didn't tell us about this" he takes my hand and holds it up for everyone to see. I start laughing and everyone gasps "You said he didn't give you any jewellery" Devyn yells "You sneaky bitch" Tara says shocked "Technically we were talking about what Colby just gave me. I said yes yesterday" I laugh "Looks like you owe me $10 each" Jake says "I'm surprised it was Kevin to be fair" I say reaching into Colbys pocket for his wallet "Hey why am I giving him $20?" Colby looks at me "Because we will be sharing money now duh" I roll my eyes smiling while he chuckles. I hand Jake the money so does Sam and Corey "Ok what just happened?" Kat asks "We had bets to see would notice first" "Enough about bets how did this happen?" Devyn asks looking at the ring. Colby and I proceed to tell everyone about how it all happened. Then we post on Instagram and hang out with our friends for the rest of the evening.
