'I Made Eggs On Toast Yesterday'

A Week Later

Today we had our scan and turns out I am actually 8 weeks pregnant. We are on our way now to the airport to pick up Colbys parents, they are staying with us for a couple nights
"I swear I've gone through like 20 packets of these mints in the last week" Colby chuckles
"Sam was suspicious with me this morning. Said he heard you throwing up for the 4th time this week"
"Ughh I can't wait to just tell everyone tomorrow, but Sam can't post the video for another like 4 weeks"
"It's a good job he's just pre filming a few videos then isn't it"

We finally arrived at the airport, Colby goes to help his mom and dad while I get us all a Starbucks. While I'm in there I bump into some fans
"Omg your Talia" a girl squeals
"That's me. What's your name?"
"Phoebe and this is Mia. Could we get a picture with you please?"
"Of course" Phoebe takes out her phone and hands it to a lady who I'm guessing is one of, or both of the girls' mom. We take the picture
"Can I ask if Colby is here?"
"Yeah he is, somewhere. He's just gone to help his parents with their bags if you want to wait a little bit?"
"Oh my god. Are you sure?"
"Of course. I was just gonna sit at the bench over there if you and I'm guessing your mom?" The lady nods her head "if you and your mom want to join me"
"Can we?" Mia asks
"Sure"

We make our way to the bench and I sip my drink
"We watched the castle series last night and I couldn't stop crying" Mia says
"It was a very emotional one for sure. I don't know exactly what Sam has put in the video, I haven't seen it to hard ya know"
"It just cut to a black screen when you were in the woods after Corey shouted. It said something like 'Talia saw something that we don't feel comfortable with showing. She saw her mamá and abuela and the footage was heartbreaking to watch' it then cut to you crying saying you saw them" Phoebe says
"When are you doing another series, you know for Corey?"
"Oh we errrr did that last week. Sam and Colby need to edit it though"
"Have you booked your next trip?" Mia asks now excitedly. I decide not to tell them that I'm not going, so instead it just reply with
"No not yet" just then I look up and see Colby waking towards us
"Oh my god it's Colby" the girls squeal once again
"Hey baby" Colby bend down and kisses my cheek while the girls squeal again
"Amor this is Phoebe and Mia. They wanted to wait to get a picture with you"
"Of course" the girls stand up and they take a picture with Colby
"Thank you so so much"
"No problem. Thank you for supporting us and our videos" we hug them once last time and say bye. I turn to see Colby's mom. Lorraine opens up her arms to me and I practically run into them
"I've really needed a mother's cuddle these week"
"Oh Natalia, well you'll have some proper home cooked meal as well, I doubt any of the boys have mad any food in the new house"
"I made eggs on toast yesterday" Colby says in defence
"I mean you did burn the toast amor" I laugh a little.

Later that evening Sam takes Kat on a date, Corey has gone to hang out with Devyn and Jake is filming with Reggie. I hide a camera facing the table then I pour everyone but myself a glass of wine I pour myself some orange juice
"Are you guys ready for Christmas?" Colby's dad asks
"I think so just need to wrap up everyone's gifts" I say taking a bite of my food "this is amazing. Thank you Lorraine"
"It's ok"
"Talia and I have an early Christmas present for you both" I stand up and pull out a bag that was under the tree. I give it to Colbys mom
"What's this?" She frowns
"Open it up" Colby says taking my hand. His mom opens up the bag and her eyes widen. She takes out a baby grow that says 'coming soon baby Martinez-Brock'
"Are you?" his mom looks at me and both Colby and I nod "ahhhh oh my god" she yells standing up
"Congratulations both of you" Colbys dad says
"Thank you"
"The packets of mints now make sense"
"Yeah it's the only thing helping morning sickness"
"Is this why you needed a mother's cuddle?" I nod my head
"You know your mamá would be proud of you" Colbys dad says
"I know thank you, both of you for always excepting me into your family"
"Your always apart of this family" she smiles at me.
