'Where Is Colby?'

Part 6/7 of The Witches Forest

"Ok so were going to take a personal object and we are going to toss them into the fire and we're also going to write down the names of the spirts that we think are haunting us" Sam says as Colby sages us all
"Wait I need to pee" I say to the group "and I dont wanna go alone"
"I'll come with you" Colby takes my hand and we walk behind a tree, still in view of the camp
"Dont look" I yell to the boys who laugh. I do my business, which is kinda hard, I could do with one of those funnel things for girls to pee in.

When I'm done Colby and I walk back over to the boys and Colby sits down, I sit on his lap as he says
"I think were ready to go guys"
"So I think the first ghost we write down is Lucy"
"Wait you think were being haunted by Lucy and the cowboy" Corey takes the camera and faces at me, Sam and Colby
"No no we're just trying to take every precaution we can" Colby states
"So we need 3 names. Lucy, the cowboy and?" Sam looks at us
"The shadowman" Colby looks at Corey that makes him laugh nervously
"Come on bro why did you have to bring that up in the woods?"
"Lets say we see a shadow person, if we turn off every single light there can't be a shadow"
"I can't tell if that's actually good logic or if your an idiot" I turn to look at Jake frowning
"We've been talking about the shadowman a lot and I've been like..."
"Manifesting it" Jake finishes Coreys sentence
"Oh dude that's probably it" Sam agrees with Jake
"What about me though, like what the heck is haunting me?"
"I think the shadowman likes you and he's been messing with you" Jake jokes but it actually makes sense.

There's a pause while everyone's thinking over what Jake says before Corey yells and points the camera at me
"Thats what the psychic said"
"And maybe your Mamá and Abuela haven't come forward because they are protecting you from him" Sam yells
"Wait the viewers don't know about that. Babe your gonna have to tell them soon"
"I know, I know. I will do once we're home, but Sam might be right amor. Like what if I've been a brat about this whole thing and the reason they haven't come to me is because they don't want me to get hurt" Colby holds me tighter as tears threaten my eyes
"Thats why were going to do this, to try and help all of us" Sam says calmly
"Ok. Lets give it a go" I lift up my head from Colbys chest. Sam gets out the things were using, a cowboy hat and lolly pops
"Whats the 3rd thing were gonna burn?" Corey asks
"This. The key to the Millennium Biltmore Hotel. Thats where it all started, its where Talia began to believe again. I believe its where the shadowman saw her and...."
"Wait didn't you say you saw a shadow while we were there?" Colby interrupts Sam and looks at me. My eyes widen in fear
"Holy shit" I come to realise what's been going on "the Biltmore is known to make people believe and make people go crazy, I connected to the hotel, negatively might I add, but holy shit yeah the Biltmore is where it started. I saw the shadow and I initially thought I was loosing my mind. It's him he's messing with me" my anxiety starts to spike up
"Babe you need to calm down ok"
"So I'm gonna give the shadowman to Corey. I think you and Talia should throw it in together" Sam hands Corey the key card and paper. Colby has the cowboy and Sam has Lucy. Jake decides he's going to burn a Shrek VHS because of his eviction notice. I hold on to the piece of paper and key card then on the count of 3 we throw everything into the fire.

My phone begins to ring but when I look at the name I'm completely freaked out
"Dios mío. Pero, qué coño?" (oh my god. What the fuck)
"Baby what is it?"
"The number. It's , it's my old home number. My Mamá and Abuela"
"What?" Corey says freaked out. I answer the phone, putting it on loud speaker
"Hello?" I say
"Mija" I instantly freeze
"Mamá?"
"Ha sido una mala idea" (that was a bad idea)
"Is that?" Corey starts
"Thats her Mamá" Colby confirms what Coreys thinking "Maria?" Colby takes the phone from me as I am completely frozen
"Colby. Tienes mi bendición" the phone goes dead and I stand up from Colbys lap
"What just happened?" Jake asks
"What was said" Corey looks at us confused
"My mamá said what we just did is a bad idea. She told Colby that he has her blessing"
"Oh my god" Colby starts to freak out causing him to fall off his chair
"What? What happened?" Sam stands up
"Bro there was a shadow behind you"
"No there wasn't" Corey looks even more scared. I feel as though I can't move. What the fuck is happening right now? I start shaking, but not from the cold "yo lets go then lets leave"
"I feel like your fucking with me" Sam says "like we hear Talia's mom on the phone and then you see a shadow. Is this a fucking prank?"
"What no why would I be fucking with you right now. Look at Talia, she's just heard her Mamá on the phone. This is our time to go capture whatever that was, come on"
"No guys, guys I'm not going" Corey says
"Fine we need someone to stay here with the fire and Talia looks to scared to come with us as well"
"What no"
"What if its just a person messing with us. We need to know" Sam says as I sit down on one of the chairs and put my head in my hands. Sam, Jake and Colby go to look while Corey stays with me.

"I have such a bad feeling right now" I say looking up "like I feel so sick"
"You feel sick?" I nod my head
"I feel like I'm gonna have a panic attack and I'm gonna throw up"
"GUYS" Corey yells "GUYS TALIA FEELS SICK. Just like have some water and something to eat"
"Where the heck are they?" I ask
"I don't know, but were gonna stay here ok. If you need to be sick that's fine just be sick" I nod my head which is still in my hands.
A few minuets later Sam and Jake come back to the camp
"Yo did you not here me call you guys? Talia feels sick and is on the verge of a panic attack. Wheres Colby?" my head shoots up at Coreys question
"Wheres Colby?" I ask Sam
"Did you here that scream?" Sam asks out of breath?"
"Scream? no I was yelling for you though"
"Where is Colby?" I ask again
"I- I don't know?"
"What do you mean you don't know?"
"I thought he came back here" Sam says while Jake is coughing
"Oh god" I start crying after everything just gets to me
"We went towards this baby thing"
"Wait you left Colby?" Corey raises his voice
"We tried, we tried bro but he ran off" Jake raises his voice a little. The boys all start to yell at each other while my ears being to ring. I try to focus on my breathing as my eyesight starts to go black and my head begins to hurt. Thankfully I'm sat down so if I'm about to pass out I wont fall. I start to come back round when I here Corey say
"Was that fucking yell Colby?"
"What? No no no no" Sam freaks out. I feel the bile begin to rise as I stand up
"Talia are you good?" Jake walks up to me and I shake my head as he puts a hand on my shoulder
"Talia listen the scream we heard was to high to be Colby, we will find him. Put out the fire and we will find him" Corey puts out the fire and puts the camera down
"Talia stay close to me, Corey or Jake" I walk over to Sam and walk by his side as the boys all yell for Colby while I silently cry. The tears seem to fall more and more the longer we don't hear him or find him.
