After Kat walked me over to Sams she kicked all the boys out telling them I needed some time with just Colby and Sam. Now we're sitting in silence digesting the information that I've just told them "So what now?" Sam asks breaking the silence between us. I shrug my shoulders "I don't know" I refuse to look at either of the boys so I continue to stare at the table in front of me "Talia what do you want to do?" Colby asks taking my hand and putting emphasis on the word 'you' "I guess I need to know for definite if it's true" "So a DNA test?" Sam asks and I nod my head yes "ok we will get it booked in for as soon as possible. Talia you know that this news changes nothing between us right? You're still one of my best friends" "I know" I finally lift my head up to look at Sam "do you think your parents knew?" "I don't know Talia. We can phone them and find out once we know for sure ok?" I nod my head once again "Do you want to watch a film or something?" "Actually I'm pretty tired. I just want to go to sleep Sam" "Ok. Come here" Sam and I stand up and he pulls me into a hug causing me to cry again. Sam rubs my back trying to comfort me. We pull apart and Colby takes my hand and we leave Sams apartment to walk into Colbys.
We're lying in bed now, Colby has wrapped me up in his arms as I've continued to cry on his chest "Why would they keep it a secret? Why did no one tell me? Do you think your parents knew?" "I don't know baby. I wish I had the answers for you" "Why did my mamá stay with him if she knew he wasn't my father? Why did she let him abuse us if she had no reason to stay with him?" "I'm so sorry your going through this angel. I wish I could do something to help" "You are" I lift my head up to look at Colby who looks sad "you're here with me. I know I say this a lot but I love you so much mi amor" "Te amo Natalia" Colby kisses my forehead. I place my head back on his chest and close my eyes as he plays with my hair and I fall asleep to the rhythm of his heart beating.
I wake up and look to see Colby fast asleep next to me. I grab my phone and text the girls

I get up and go over to the kitchen and start making some breakfast, putting my music playlist on. I flip the pancakes while singing Positions making me laugh at the line 'cooking in the kitchen for you'. Once everything is done I put it all on some plates then take 2 empty plates out of the cupboard taking them into the bedroom to wake Colby "Amor?" I kiss him on the head "wake up" "Hmmm. Why can I smell food?" Colby sleepily asks "Because I made you breakfast in bed" "Babe I should be doing that, you had a rough day yesterday" Colby sits up placing his hand on my face rubbing his thumb on cheek "Well it took my mind off things" I hold his hand and smile at him "now. There's chocolate chip pancakes, blueberry pancakes and strawberry pancakes" "I fucking love you" Colby says making me laugh "I love you too" I peck his lips then I start plating up the pancakes while Colby sets up the vampire diaries.
"Do you and Sam want to do the DNA test before or after the next trip?" Colby asks taking a mouthful of chocolate chip pancake "I think we should do it before, but we might not get the results until we get home" "Well whatever you decided I'm with you" "I just don't want things to be awkward between Sam and I" "They won't. I know you guys and we're already all practically family" Colby does have a point to be honest "Yeah your right. Thanks Colby" "No problem now these pancakes aren't going to eat themselves" I laugh as Colby places another pancakes on my plate.
