'Just Open The Box'

This book will be coming to an end soon 😔 the aim is to get to 100 chapters but that's over 10 chapters away. We will see, but please check out my other book 'The Mafia'. The first chapter will be posted tomorrow, 19th April.

Also this is kinda a short chapter but it's just a sweet moment between Talia and Colby.

After the little cleansing we do to the house I immediately feel better, I got to bed that night having closure

I'm in grey room on a rocking chair holding a baby
"Hola mi hija" I see my mamá and abuela walk into the room
"You did it, you helped Corey"
"But I didn't really do much though"
"Yes you did more than you realised. By being pregnant they are going to change how they do things, you suggested the cleansing of the house I promise mi hija you helped them"
"Mamá I'm scared. I don't want to do this without you or abuela"
"We're here. We will always be here. It's ok Natalia to ask Colby's mom for guidance through the pregnancy and birth. I'm sorry neither of us can be here in person to help, but I will tell you this... your life is about to become so full of love and happiness, don't ever let it go. Adiós, hija mía. Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar (goodbye my daughter. Until we meet again) Colby walks into the room as my mamá and abuela fade away, of course I'm sad but my heart feels full. I know what to do.

I wake up early the next morning I get up early to go to the store to get an early Christmas card and present for Colby. I buy a box, some prego, a card that says 'merry Christmas mommy and daddy' and finally some sticky labels. I quickly return home and write the word I'm on the label, sticking it on the bottle then putting it in the box. I quickly write in the card

'To Daddy. I haven't met you yet but mommy says I will in 8 or 9 months she says can you make sure you, uncle Jake, uncle Sam and uncle Corey don't make the house haunted because it will scare me. I already love you and can't wait to meet my family'

I put the card in the envelope at put it on the box without writing on the front of it. I go back into mine and Colby's room
"Amor wake up"
"5 more minutes"
"No wake up I have an early Christmas gift" Colby opens up an eye then the other once he notices the box. He sits up in bed
"Why did you get me an early Christmas present?"
"Well you kinda got it yourself"
"Huh?"
"Just open the box" Colby does as I tell him and he frowns
"Ha ha funny joke"
"Open the card" Colby opens the envelope then frowns. He reads the inside
"Talia is this a joke?" I shake my head no "your pregnant?" I nod "I'm gonna be a dad?"
"Yes"
"Ahhh" Colby pulls me to him then flips us over so that he is on top while his kissing my face over and over again "but you said..." I cut Colby off by kissing his lips
"Forget what I said" I say when I pull back "we're having a baby"
"But when did you find out?" Colby frowns a little
"When we were a Corey's his mom knew and so Corey's older sister gave me a test"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"What in the middle of the seance?" I raise a brow "the tree shakes and we all freak out but oh yeah hey Colby by the way I'm pregnant" Colby chuckles making me laugh
"You're perfect, this is perfect"
"Even if we live in a house with 3 idiots?"
"Yes" Colby laughs "we can get them to change diapers when we're napping"
"I always had it planned that it was marriage first then kids but I don't care anymore, I don't think I could have loved anyone as much as I love you now. You and this baby are my world now and I will do everything to make sure it stays like this" I say looking into Colby's beautiful eyes
"I love you"
"Not as much as I love you" I lean up and chapter Colby's lips in a kiss which soon turns into a heated makeup session.
