It was an amazing and beautiful October morning and the sun was shining into my room when I woke up. Stretching my body, I sat up and looked over to Leona's bed but of course, the morning person wasn't there which made me giggle quietly. I grabbed my phone to check the time and it was quarter past noon and I wondered if I seriously always slept that long because it had been like that everyday now.

I realized that I had gotten a text message from Leah two hours ago and it was the perfect start in the day for me.

TODAY IS THE DAY. I seriously can't wait to see you again. Finally, you're coming back. Let me know when you arrive okay? I want to see your beautiful face again. Love you x

I'm not lying when I say I have the most amazing best friends ever and a huge smile came to my face while I was reading the message. I quickly typed a message back and sent it to her before I stood up and walked to the bathroom to get ready for the day. After that, I went downstairs into the kitchen and saw my mother. "Good morning." I greeted her. She looked up and smiled at me.

"It's not morning anymore sweetheart but good morning." She chuckled and kissed the top of my head. "How did you sleep?"

"Good actually. What about you?" I asked her.

"Me too," she replied. I watched her putting some stuff into a bag and laying it on the ground. "We're leaving in two hours."

"Yeah, I know. I can't wait."

"Did you enjoy your time here?" she asked me.

"Well it was certainly not how I expected it to be but it was okay. I'm just happy that I can see my friends again. I miss them so much and I just feel so much better around them." I answered her honestly.

She nodded. "Okay, that's good to know, honey. Have you already packed your things?"

"Yup, already done."

"Alright then. I'm going to the city with Anna and when I'm back we're leaving." She let me know before she took her handbag.

"Okay, Mom." I walked over to her and kissed her cheek and after that, she walked out of the kitchen. I made something to eat quickly and then I spent some time with Leona and Jason in the living room until our mothers were back.

Despite loving to be here and spending time with my cousins, I wanted those two hours to pass really fast because I wanted t go back home and see my best friends again. It was like time was not passing by every time I looked at the clock so I needed to find something to occupy myself so time moved forward.

Jason asked me if I wanted to play some games with him and I agreed because I couldn't say no to my little cousin and time would pass a little faster if I did so. I went to his room with him and he picked something we could play with...

The doorbell rang after a while and I knew that it was my mother and my aunt who were back so I took Jason and walked down the stairs with him. We walked to the living room, where we found Jason's and my mother with a whole lot of bags and I scoffed because of course, they went shopping without me and Leona. Very unfair if you asked me but I wasn't going to complain about it.

My mother asked me to go and get my things because we were about to leave for the airport and without hesitation, I did what she asked me and went upstairs to get my suitcase. After I had everything together, I went outside and put it all in the back of my aunt's car and waited for us to leave. Leona and Jason were coming to the airport with us.
