Percy POV
I walked to the door and waited for a few seconds. When the door opened, I saw Alyssa was the one to open the door. She was happy and crushed me in a hug so tight it would have given the Minotaur a run for his money.
"You're okay!" she screamed.
"Yeah, I'm fine for now. But your hug is going to change that," I replied. "I-Is mom here?"
"Some women in leather jackets came by with mom and they said something about you getting a hat back for them and paying back a debt," Alyssa told me. I walked after Alyssa. We continued to walk into the house and Alyssa kept on telling me how both her's and Brain's managers were bugging them about making appearances with me because of my hero stunt that the press was going crazy for.
Alyssa led me to my parents' room and said mom was resting. I knocked on the door and when I opened it after no response, I saw her sleeping peacefully under the sheets. My eyes teared up and I fought the urge to go and hug her. I knew she needed rest and that waking her up for a hug would do the exact opposite of that. Once I made sure she was okay I walked to my dad's study.
When he let me in it didn't take long for him to greet me with a hug. He told me he was proud of me and that having a tri-blood for a son is shaping up to be very interesting. He wanted to hear everything that happened and cleared the rest of his schedule for the day to do so.
"That was the second-best story I have ever heard," dad told me.
"What was the first?" I asked. He looked at me as if I should know the answer.
"The pufferfish fiasco, back when your mom was in the academy. Speaking of your mother. She should be fine and will wake up soon. And... you know what she is going to ask."
"I'm going back to camp," I told him.
"For the summer or..."
"I'll be back. I'll be gone over the summer only. You still need me to take everything over, right?"
"I guess I do," dad replied "Stay for a bit longer. I'll send a limbo to take you back after you see your mom. And after I talk to you about all the publicity you recently have gotten. This could work better for you when you eventually take over the business. Possibly find you a fiancé with another CEO's daughter,".
"That won't be necessary. I have my love life under control."
Afterward, my mom woke up, and to say I was happy and relieved she was fine is a huge understatement. My other siblings came into the room and dad told them some of the things that happened in the quest. Every single person with gray eyes shivered when they heard about the spiders. Brian began writing a song that praised me for being a great spider slayer.
I stayed for a bit longer and was driven back to the half-blood hill. When I got back everyone was praising us for the accomplished quest. We did some of the camp traditions like the huge feast and wearing the laurels. Since Athena's cabin was helping Annabeth, they didn't help to make my laurel. Ares cabin wanted to take on the job. To say they all held a grudge since I fought their dad is an understatement. Even Jeremy was a bit pissed off.
After the night I walked to my cabin and found two things on my bed. One was Medusa's head which was safely unseeable. But the other was a book with a note attached to it. When I read the note it said it was from Athena and this book was one of her most prized books. There were only thirteen of them and the other twelve were in her personal library. The book is all accumulated knowledge to have ever existed and whenever you open the book it is always the right page needed.
