Percy POV

I love New York; a person could come out of the Underworld on top of a giant hellhound. Get in a taxi and with the said dog following you, but the only thing that gets anyone's attention is if you are a wealthy multi-billionaire. I ended up in front of the Empire State Building and waited in the front. I called the camp with an Iris Message on my way there, so they were already on the way.

When I finally got to the Empire state, multiple vans came up with all the one hundred and fifty campers. I had never seen this many half-bloods in one place. There were many half-bloods throughout the years, but we never stood together like this, this much, at least, not outside a camp. When all the campers got together, they were dawning Greek armor and weapons. I warned them to be prepared for anything. Silena was standing in front of Ares's cabin and Aphrodite's cabin. Clarisse was standing behind her, clearly showing that Silena convinced them to join the battle. My lions bounded towards me, taller than the hellhound by me. They roared, and people looking at us began making their way around what they thought was a bunch of kids on a school trip.

"What's up, Seaweed brain?" Annabeth asked. Everyone looked at me, wanting the same answer.

"Something is coming, and Kronos is planning a trap," I said. "We need to see what gods are on Olympus to aid us and try to warn the Olympians of the trap, whatever it may be. I want Athena's and Ares's cabin to start making plans if monsters come through. Hephaestus cabin, did you bring what I asked?"

"We brought them, Percy," Beckendorf told me. "I didn't even know these were a thing until you told me where to find them."

I had sent Beckendorf to one of the hidden bunkers used for the Civil war against the Romans. I hate to admit it, but wars are good for advancement, at least for weapons, and defensive advancement. Beckendorf showed me a rectangular celestial bronze cylinder. These rectangular bronze cubes would expand to become either siege towers or celestial bronze walls. It was a portable defense. No matter what, each rectangle was at least five stories tall when fully grown.

"Keep them on you. When I give the signal, follow Ares and Athena's cabins and place them where they want," I told him. Beckendorf nodded.

"But Percy, why are we getting ready for a battle?" one of the younger children of Hermes asked.

"Olympus is unguarded. The council is gone and fighting two primordial giants. Poseidon is fighting a war underwater. This would be the perfect time to strike. Hades said a trap is going to happen tonight. Even if the trap is somewhere else, we need to keep Olympus safe. If it falls, we lose," I clarified.

"So, this is just you rather being safe than sorry?" another asked.

"No, this is him making a plan for an attack that he would have done if he was in the enemy's shoes," Clarisse told them.

"To beat the enemy, you have to think like them," Annabeth admitted. "Defend where they would attack, attack where they thought you wouldn't. Kronos has so many options, but the best way for him to win would be attacking here and now."

"Athena cabins and Ares cabins are to stay behind and prepare the defenses created by Hephaestus. Everyone else follows their leads. Beckendorf, Annabeth, Silena, and my lions, come with me. We are going up to Olympus. Chiron, I need you to go get your brethren. We need all the help we can get."

Chiron nodded and trotted off. My group ran through the Empire State and went into the elevator to the six hundredth floor. When we got up to Olympus, it was deserted. There were no gods on the streets. There were no benders, nymphs, cyclops, no friendly creatures, no defense, nothing, not a soul. We rushed down towards the main council chambers.
