Percy POV

That night when I took on the burden of the sky I couldn't go back to sleep. The strain was too great and the burden too heavy. I couldn't lead my cabin into dinner, and I had to stay inside the cabin. I had to find a way to numb some of the pain.

I left the bed and splashed some of the saltwater from the little fountain onto my face. This helped hold back some of the pain and now felt a long deep throb across my body instead of the stinging, burning, pain that felt like ripping muscles. The night was long, and I had to take a dip in the lake the entire night to keep myself from screaming out.

The morning came and I talked to Grover about my dream. I told him everything except for the part with Ouranos. We talked for a bit as we watched some sorry satyrs chase some nymphs. Apparently, they said they would take them out on a date if a satyr caught one of them. Nymphs were quick, you had to be to avoid gods for hundreds of years.

One lucky satyr got really close. Five satyrs were chasing a nymph and the nymph didn't see that another satyr was hanging off a tree and dropped right in front of her to catch her. Before the satyr could catch her, she turned into a tree and the satyr went headfirst into the bark. He almost was knocked out and when he wanted to give the tree a hug the tree swung a large branch and knocked out the satyr.

"Lucky goat," Grover told me.

"I for one wouldn't like the wood and maple leaves in my mouth," I replied. "What do you think about the dream?"

"It's kind of like what happened in Zoe's dream," he admitted.

"Zoe had a dream? When?"

"Last night around three in the morning."

"Wait, how do you know this?" I asked him skeptically.

"I might have camped out of Artemis cabin."

"You are a stalking goat," I said while deadpanning. I took out a bottle of water from my pocket and splashed some on my face. Grover was going to ask why I was putting water on my face in the middle of winter but decided not to. "So, what was her dream?"

Grover then told me that it was something about Artemis being in danger and that Zoe claimed that she needed to go and help her out. Chiron didn't let her go and she came back to the cabin angry. He told me that the dream had something about Artemis being taken, kidnapped. This concerned me considering the fact she was a powerful goddess, and one of the few nimrods on Olympus with a conscience. One of the five people on the council that I can fully believe would do everything to make sure the others don't vote for me being killed. The others were a bit up in the air.

I ended up in the stables to look at some of the horses. When I got there, I saw Silena arguing with a hunter. From experience, I learned that is stupid to get in between Aphrodite or her kids when they are in an argument. They are passionate and that leads to people getting hurt, mainly me.

"Boys are idiotic, moronic, pieces of animalistic crap! They are a waste of space and should be left to be by themselves!" the hunter screamed. I tried to not take that personal. I couldn't. I took it personally. "Love is stupid and is not needed."

"Love is the most amazing and wonderful thing in this world. Without it, the world would suffer for it. You might not like romantic love, but all love is important for everything and everyone!" Silena screamed.

"It's stupid and as a daughter of Aphrodite you are biased."

"Of course, I'm biased. As a daughter of Aphrodite, I know how important it is to have love in their heart. Without it, society would fall apart. Without it, there will be no friendship, no family, no positive relationships."
