Percy POV
Now you may be wondering, Percy, how is life? How does it feel to be an all-powerful demigod with powers even some gods only dream about? How does it feel to be able to face two titans when the last time you met titans by yourself, you were nearly killed and needed your two lion god pets to help you? Now, you may be thinking I would say fantastic. But, in truth, I hated every second of it because, during that same fight, a giant pig the size of my two double-decker tank-size lions rammed into me and decided to take me for a joy ride across the city.
I guess the constellation prize is that the two annoying titans were taken with me. But it's not much of a reward when that pig slams into every building I own, not even the other buildings which I don't own. It's slamming into my buildings and causing them to collapse on top of us. Without these two being deities and without me having the curse or my black Nemean lion's fur coat, I would have died at least five dozen times already on this annoying pig rollercoaster!
We slammed into a building once more, and this time the three of us were sent careening outside a window and began plummeting towards the ground. We broke through all the walls between the floor, and when we flew out the window, glass shards scattered across the winds as they fell with us. The building began collapsing on itself and started crashing towards us. Slowly the dirt and debris filled the raining and thundering sky as it slammed into the ground and towards us.
Right before it did, I threw Olethros as far and hard as possible away from the falling building and opened my hand. Instead of the ax coming towards me, I flew towards it. At ungodly speeds, I headed towards the ax and slammed into the base of another skyscraper but not hard enough to make the building fall like its predecessor.
"Oh, my gods. That was a way to close," I panted. Before I realized it, a sword was thrown a single foot too far away from my head.
I looked at the sword and turned to see Hyperion glaring at me. Before I could wonder where Koios was, my instincts took over, and I used Evolgia to block a spear to the face. Koios had moved faster than I could think. He was using more of his divinity, most likely breaking some of the ancient laws.
"Don't speak so soon, Perseus," Koios warned.
"Don't get too close, Koios," I replied. With the faster of my two weapons freed, I swung upwards, barely missing Koios' body for an instant fatality. I did graze and pierce his armor. The gash was comprehensive and left an opening for me to try and stab him in the chest.
"So close yet so far," Koios mocked. "After I'm done with you, I will steal that Sphere of the Presence you have."
"How do you know of the Presence?" I asked, getting ready for another attack.
"I know many things. I know that Athena gave it to you, hoping you could figure something out about it since she failed to. I know that she was wrong. And since we titans were in hiding, I could scour the world and learn many secrets thought to be an insult to the ancient laws but more malleable in other areas than in the realm of the gods. Finding out there was a being that came before Chaos herself was interesting. Finding out that you were connected to this transcending being and Ragnarok was enticing. Especially considering the history, the three of you share and will eventually share in the future."
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"I see, so your Norse friends have not told you everything yet. It does not matter. What does matter is after I kill you, I will take that sphere. The personification of the begging itself, once fully understood, anything could happen because every possibility needs a begging," Koios said with a smile.
"Koios, what are you talking about?" Hyperion asked, confused.
"Kronos might have given you specific information about the battles and wars happening now but he has me looking towards the ones yet to come after we win. But if we don't put Perseus down now, it would all be for not."
