Author's note

Hi readers! This the final chapter of the Sea of Monsters. I think I did good on making the book different yet still enjoyable. After this chapter I might take a week or two off to make sure I make a few more chapters and edit it correctly for you all to enjoy as well as thinking on how to change up the other fanfiction ideas a bit to make sure they are just as enjoyable but have little to no similarities with this one.

If I do make the one where Percy is born a Primordial and raised by Artemis, I think I'm going to make a love rivalry between Aphrodite and Athena for Percy since all is fair in Love and War, and two goddesses coming up with different ways to get one over on the other while both being good at strategizing in something like this seems like a fun idea. I might even make a fun twist where the man hating Artemis thinks that two women, goddess, one being a maiden, the other being the literal embodiment of love and affection, are both not good enough for her son. It shouldn't be that hard for Athena to like Percy since Annabeth likes him in cannon and Annabeth and Athena have a lot of similarities, obviously. Again, the future fanfics might be a little way off. I would at least like to be halfway done with this fanfic before taking on another tasks. I prefer quality of quantity when it comes to publishing fanfics.

Please comment your thoughts and vote. Thank you all so much for reading my work. Without further ado, I present to you the climactic final chapter of the Sea of Monsters!

Percy POV

The boat was in the middle of open water and we had to go by a small motorboat to get there. I would have tried to escape several times if it weren't for the sword at my throat and the fact that both Tyson and Annabeth would have been killed the moment I made a single move. Being crushed by a bear hug was not the best way to die, I know from experience.

When we finally got on the ship, part of me wanted to jump in the pool. Probably do a Swan Dive or as Aphrodite originally called it since she invented it the Dove Dive. To me, it made no sense to be called a Dove Dive, so I started calling it a Swan Dive which was the name that caught on. I thought about moon bathing, Artemis willing. Maybe even make myself a non-alcoholic Pina Colada.

While that part of me wanted to relax the rest of me was saying, are you a freaking idiot? Worry about the five thousand monsters that are surrounding you right now. There were hundreds of monsters on the deck, and they all were looking at me. The blood of a tri-blood son of Poseidon is very tantalizing.

The bear twins were holding Tyson down and Annabeth was being held back by some other monsters. Luke kept his blade at my neck and started talking about how it would be a good idea to place the fleece on a coffin that was being used to reform Kronos.

When I looked at the coffin, I wanted to chuck it into the ocean and never lay my eyes on the thing ever again. I was going to pull out Riptide and Olethros until Luke put more pressure on the blade. Even if he didn't, I couldn't handle all these monsters at once. A dozen is one thing but nearly six hundred, only the curse of Achilles could pull it off.

I looked around and thought of the only thing that could work. I lifted my hands which were behind my back. The Olethros coin moved around enough to make a drachma in my pocket fall out of pocket. I caught the coin behind my back without alerting anyone. Annabeth noticed this and smiled; it was going well so far.

I caused the water around us to crash into the boat and due to the crash water vapor rose from the sides of the boat. The water vapor made a rainbow. Annabeth then faked sneezed and I was able to throw the coin while everyone looked at her thinking she was up to something. When the coin reached the rainbow, I prayed a silent prayer for Iris to connect us to camp half-blood. I could see Mr. D and Tantalus staring at us with the rest of the camp.
