Author's Note;

Hey guys, I just wanted to say this is the first real battle of the battle of Manhattan. The entire chapter is just one battle, and I hope you guys like it. I got to have a lot of fun writing it, and I think I did well starting the battle of Manhattan with a bang while also doing the gravity of the situation both for my AU and cannon justice.

Now to the two readers by the names of @ OnTopMiguel and @rohinisrivathsan, you guys were absolutely right in your comment in the first chapter of the Last Olympian. I couldn't have agreed more, I'm not going to say what you said, and I think you guys know what I'm talking about. All I'm saying is, be careful what you wish for. You two commented that when I was writing this very chapter, and I couldn't stop laughing because of the coincidence. Oh, and to @Truenoeze, I'm sorry, truly. I saw the comment at the end of theirs, and I know you might not like what happens. If it makes you feel any better, they didn't give me any ideas; I just thought it was funny that we were thinking the same thing.

Please don't forget to comment and vote on the chapter. We are nearing the end, and we are nearing 100k reads. I love you guys so much and hope you enjoy it! Thank you guys, so much!

Percy POV

When Annabeth told me of the imminent threat towards the Williamsburg Bridge, I grabbed all three of the demigoddess, threw them over my shoulder, and rushed towards the bridge. With the first step, I destroyed the ground, and the force of my speed caused everything around me to be pulled with tornado-level winds to the wind. Since I jumped in the Styx and had my impenetrable coat, I covered the three from the winds and debris in the air that could have hurt them.

We went there almost instantly, and Bianca was the only one to recover in a few seconds. But since she figured out what I did, she smacked me across the face, saying she had told me to never do that again. Annabeth realized what happened soon after and punched my shoulder. Thalia realized the same thing and hit me full force with lighting, sending me a few feet higher into the air.

I could see a large bronze wall blocking off more than half the bridge when I recovered. I looked over to see part of Apollo's cabin on top of the bridge while they picked off the monsters arrow by an arrow. Some others were behind the wall, shooting from behind the protection, still hitting monsters with bull's eyes.

I then noticed something absolutely terrifying. Siege towers. Dozens of them. You know those giant towering monstrosities, ours don't count, that is used or sieges like this one. They are used to get through walls, like that one. Once they got close enough, it would spell doom. I looked at the large siege weapons on our walls as they fired at the towers. One giant trebuchet shot at a tower, crashing into the tower's center.

Then the entire tower exploded with Greek fire courtesy of Beckendorf's unique trebuchet shots. The explosion sent debris across the battlefield and the wall towards us. One large piece of shrapnel hit my face. I looked around and noticed another piece was going to hit Annabeth. I tackled her down, making the shrapnel hit me instead of her.

"What the heck is happening?" I screamed. The Apollo cabin turned to me, and Michael rushed towards me. I got up, and everyone looked at me.

"They were way more prepared than we thought. The Minotaur is leading them towards us, and they are getting closer." A giant bus was flung over the wall and toward us. I caught the thing while it pushed me back due to the force. I then threw it over the bridge. "Correction, he's here."
