Author's Note;

Hi readers! I wanted to give a surprise update. Hope you enjoy.  As you could probably guess due to Aphrodite being kidnapped this book will not have a lot of her perspective for the time being. Please comment down your thoughts and vote on the chapter. Comment down how you think Percy knows of Nico and Bianca's mother.

Percy POV

Artemis told us dawn was coming and with it, our ride to camp, Apollo. I could see Bianca talking to Nico and by the look of things, I could tell she was telling him about her decision. As someone who has spent thousands of years loving and being loyal to one woman, giving up someone I love just for immortality didn't seem like an option.

We waited and I could see that the hunters were trying to stay as far away from me as possible. I guess it makes sense since I am a male and am currently dating the goddess who a cause for a number of their hearts breaks and leading to the hating of all guys. Aphrodite had as much credit for making the hunt as Artemis did, if you think about it.

I began to feel the area surrounding us get hotter. The sun chariot was probably close by. I could hear Olethros stinging due to the hot air touching the usually freezing cold metal. Even with the fact Olethros could control fire, the weapon has the powers of a titan related to the cold so it's still more on the freezing side.

"Don't look at the sun when it parks," Artemis warned.

"Not something you want to do, trust me," I said.

"Why do you say that?" Artemis asked.

"You know how mortals think that if you start looking at the sun for too long you go blind. I was the first idiot to test that theory out," I whispered to her.

When the chariot parked, I was astonished. Apollo had good taste in cars. A Maserati Spyder. The metal was red, not because of the paint job but because the metal was so hot. The car was so hot that the snow within a block radius evaporated and now we were in a grassy area.

The driver of the car came out with jeans, loafers, and a sleeveless shirt. He had sunglasses and a toothy smile so white that I could have gone blind from it alone. He had sandy blonde hair and when he pushed his sunglass up onto his head, while also causing his hair to be pushed back, I could see his eyes. They glowed bright golden, the sun itself was implanted into each pupil.

"Wow, Apollo's hot," Thalia muttered.

"He is the sun god," I added.

"Not what I meant," Thalia told me.

"Hey, little sis! Long time no see!" Apollo announced.

"We're twins! It doesn't matter who was born first." Artemis told him while having to look up to the literal big brother. "Even if it did matter the reason that I'm the goddess of childbirth is that I helped our mom give birth to you minutes after I was born!"

"Oh, come on technicalities," Apollo said with a smile, he then turned and saw me. "Percy, right?"

"Nice to meet you, Lord Apollo," I said with a smile. I always liked Apollo. He was one of the more fun Olympians and he was the first wingman I ever had. Every stupid idea he ever had I was a part of. I was even the person that helped him train to bet Hermes, the fastest god there is, in a foot race in the first Olympics.

The only time we were on opposing sides was the Trojan war and even at that Aphrodite was against me too. Then again, Apollo and Artemis were both patron gods of Sparta so I had to keep them in higher regard than most of the other gods. Come to think about it, they were both my patron gods but for some reason choose to side with the Trojans during the war. That is a little irritating now that I think back.
