Percy POV
I looked at the falling helicopter and sighed. I tapped Olethros as a spear on the ground three times before a large iceberg shot out from the floor and helped the aircraft slide down. It was still extremely fast, and as it slid at hundreds of miles an hour, I stood in front of the helicopter before punching it full force, instantly stopping it and causing the aircraft to flip over me due to the instant stop. It slammed back into the ground behind me.
Some campers helped the people out. There was a pilot and two wealthy adults. Rachel was helped out, and it was safe to say the two adults were her parents because of their similarities. I looked at her and saw that she was bleeding due to hitting her head from the helicopter and told some Apollo cabin members to make sure they were healed.
"Why, the ever-loving Tartarus, are you here?" I asked.
"I had a vision, a feeling, I thinking something bad is coming. A trap, a trap that will lead to death," Rachel said, scared and frightened of what she saw.
"A vision?" I questioned. That's not common; outside of children or legacies of Apollo or those cursed or blessed with the sight of that level, can that be possible? No person was blessed or cursed in a while with the gift, and on top of that, I know there is no Apollo blood in her family, and even if there was, the ichor ran dry generations before she was born. Something is off here, and I need to figure it out.
"Kronos, he's sending in a drakon to fight," Rachel said. Everyone stopped all the preparation. Every single person stopped moving and turned towards her like they were statues frozen in time. Aperio and Aioniotita turned to her, their eyes wide with disbelief.
"That's impossible," I cursed. "They should all be dead. Especially since the drakon hunts."
"Perseus," Chiron said, walking up to us.
"The stupid drakon's survived," I uttered.
"Not just any drakon, the first drakon," Rachel said.
"What's a drakon?" Little Margey asked.
"The original dragon spices," I commented. "My firstborn children," I sighed.
"What?" Thalia screamed, running up to me. "What do you mean the drakons are your children?"
"Just that, the first drakon's were his children," Chiron muttered.
"Scyleria, the first hydra, had many children making the hydra species. But she didn't only start that species. She had tricked me in one of my lives in which I was fully mortal with Olethros and made sure I couldn't use Olethros as she...had her way with me," I said, letting the words sink in. Most of the hunters looked towards me sympathetically, knowing full well how bad it could be. Many had sworn off men to that happening to those close to them. "She then gave birth to the first dozen drakon. And three hundred years later, they devolved by breeding with basilisk and other monsters, making the first dragons," I admitted. "About five hundred years after that, Scyleria had killed one of my daughters of Aphrodite I was raising. Long story short, that daughter was the king's daughter, and the king declared war on the blood of Scyleria. The first on the list was the most powerful of her descendants, the drakon. Imagine a dragon on steroids, and boom, you got a drakon."
"You're telling me we will kill your son?" Thalia asked.
"Yes. But I thought they were all dead and gone. They had used stygian iron from the Underworld to kill them all. The children of Hades had led the charge in their culling due to one of them loving the daughter of Aphrodite I talked about."
"This drakon is not the last one," Rachel told me. "I saw him; he had...he had a lot of drakon eggs and young drakon pups. Meaning that he might have restarted the species."
