Author's Note;

Oh, my gods! We have reached 50 k reads. To think, in chapter 11, we had just passed 1 k, in chapter 19, we passed 5 k, in chapter 22, we passed 10 k, and in chapter 33, we passed 25k. Now in chapter 40, we are at 50 k reads. You are amazing. Thank you, guys, so much, and love each and every one of you. I know that I am slow on the updating now, but many things are currently happening in my personal life on top of me going to work and school.

I try to type as much as possible, but I haven't had the time, and that's with me barely sleeping as much as before. I also know what I promised to make a character based on one of the comments, don't worry, I haven't forgotten, I just have an idea for the character to pop up, and I think it will make the winner really happy and sad at the same time.

Again, thank you for your support, and as I said, I didn't even think I would ever get these many reads. You are all amazing and phenomenal, and sensational people. Thank you to all those that point out my grammatical errors and plot holes that I try to fix as soon as possible or try to rectify later in the story.

I know this is a lot, and I thank you all for reading this humongous story. I hope you enjoy the rest, and I have also decided that, like last time, the first person to comment down in this paragraph will make their own character that will be in the book at some point in time.

Don't forget to comment and vote. Thank you all and enjoy.

Percy POV

I tried to speak to Aphrodite before we left for the maze, but she didn't listen to my prayers. She was...distant. That's something that's never happened before. How can love itself try to be isolated and remote?

We stood at the entrance of the maze. Annabeth had the lead; it was her quest; after all, Aperio and Aioniotita had shrunk in size similar to how the Chimera did when I went to find the Master bolt. That feels like it happened so long ago. Aperio looked like a blonde cat, while Aioniotita looked like the type of black cat you would walk on the other side of the street to avoid.

Tyson and Grover were far away from each other since they were still technically terrified of the idea of each other. Grover was eating a tin can since he was nervous about going underground. Tyson was eating an entire watermelon without cutting it open. They're pretty similar when you get to know them better.

Silena was standing next to Beckendorf. She had some of her hair braided, and it looked like some Norse-inspired hairstyle. Some braids were used to hold the rest of the hair back, allowing it to stay behind her shoulders and not get in the way when fighting.

Beckendorf, you know, the giant dude that was almost as tall as my six-and-a-half-foot cyclops brother, looked imposing. But he had a huge smile after him, laughing at a joke Silena had said. He reminded me of a gentle giant. Well, as gentle as one could be for a guy holding a four-foot-tall war hammer. The war hammer was made of stygian iron, with engravings and decorated etchings of imperial gold. The weapon looked similar to my Olethros since it had a black and golden theme going on.

Now, you may be wondering, Percy, I thought only deities, yes deities, related to the Underworld, can even hold Stygian iron. Well, you would be correct, but that was where the gloves Beckendorf had on came in. Apparently, he had made a few dozen swords for Hades, which helped when some idiot in the Underworld tried to cause a rebellion. For help, Hades enchanted the gloves to handle stygian iron. Hephaestus then gave Bekendorf some stygian iron he had leftover. Beckendorf then used the imperial gold leftover from making my arm to make the hammer look...well, awesome, it looks awesome.
