Percy POV
The Friday before winter break, I was on my way to a date with Aphrodite. We were in a limo with the driver's window rolled up. Aphrodite was drinking sips of wine as she fixed up some of her makeup. I was doing things on my laptop for the construction of the hotel which was almost finished. I had already succeeded in making all of New York City monster free and even made sure that a barrier similar to the one at camp surrounded the place so that only monsters couldn't enter.
Aphrodite was wearing a black dress that slowly turned blue when it passed her waist. She looked like her fourteen-year-old version. I was wearing a tux with a blue tie. We were halfway to Poseidon's Seas, the aquarium that had just finished construction that I owned. My parents were congratulating me an hour ago and everyone was happy that they were going to meet Avee, Aphrodite but they still didn't know that, for the first time.
Aphrodite slowly crept closer to me when I was working and started kissing my neck. I stopped what I was doing, and we started a make out session. I got an Iris message from Grover saying he needed help with some demigods at some school. Aphrodite jumped off of me and tried to play it off while I fixed my hair in front of the message made of mist. He told me that I needed to pick up Thalia and Annabeth on the way over there.
"That satyr is the best at killing the mood," Aphrodite told me.
"William, change of plans. We need to pick some people up and head somewhere else," I told him. The driver went to the directions that I told him, and he picked up speed. Aphrodite then turned to face me.
"Let's see what I could do about the scar," she told me. She snapped her fingers and the scar on my neck disappeared.
"You do that now?" I asked. "You could have done that since I got the thing."
"This was going to be our first public appearance together. I needed you to look your best," she replied.
We had to go to an all-girls boarding school and picked up both Annabeth and Thalia. The snow coming down was so harsh and strong that we couldn't even see a foot away from the car. When Thalia and Annabeth met Avee (Aphrodite) they both were in awe and I could see a twinge of jealousy in their eyes.
I could understand since to them she looks like their ideal form of beauty. Sadly, it doesn't fully work on me since my true idea of beauty is Aphrodite's true self but since it is more beautiful than people could comprehend, to me she just looks like some of the things that other people see. Not to say all the looks she had weren't knockouts but still, they weren't the true Aphrodite. Thalia was the first to return from her stupor.
"You're Avee?" Thalia asked.
"The one and only," Aphrodite replied with a smile. "Nice to meet two of Percy's friends."
"Nice to meet you too," Thalia replied. She then turned to Annabeth who still hadn't said anything and then elbowed her to get to focus.
"Oh, yeah. Nice to meet you. Percy and Silena have said a lot about you," Annabeth struggled out. I knew that it would be a bit harder for Annabeth to speak since she had some idea of who Aphrodite was. Luke had made my love life public knowledge to Annabeth during our last quest. While Annabeth might not know that Aphrodite is who she is, Annabeth is getting close to figuring it out.
