"I'm sorry what?" Kuroo said as he stared at you blankly.

You gave him a soft smiled but he didn't return it.
A sudden pit fell in your stomach and you didn't know what to do.
You could hear everyone cheering and congratulating you both, and you could still hear a very tipsy Ukie telling everyone that she knew you were this whole time and how psychic she was.

Kuroo shook his head at you, then turned to look at everyone. He gave everyone his signature smile and walked back over to Bokuto. grabbing another drink.

You stared at him and knew that you had messed up y not telling him.

Everyone eventually went back to talking with one another and doing their own thing, you on the other hand felt dizzy and like you were gonna be sick, so you decided to take a minute outside and get some fresh air.

"Let me guess...He wasn't happy?" You heard the soft voice of Akaashi behind you.

You continued to stare into the night sky, ignoring his presence.

"How far along are you?" He asked, stepping beside you.

"Three months now.."

"Wow..And this whole time you kept it a secret?"

You nodded, feeling tears swell in your eyes. The last thing you wanted was for Kuroo to be mad at you.

"I mean, that kinda explains a lot..But I'm happy for you two, but I also have to ask...why didn't you tell him sooner?"

You looked down at your hands, they started to feel cold in the soon coming winter breeze.
"Because I was scared that I might lose this baby too..I wanted to wait to tell him till I knew for sure that I'd carry it full term..I guess I didn't wanna jinx it is all.."

Akaashi stayed silent, but nodded to you. "You should tell him that, I'm sure he'd understand..."

You hummed in response and looked back up into the night sky, counting the very little stars in the sky subconsciously.

You didn't even realize that Akaashi had left your side till you felt someone touch your shoulder, when you turned you locked eyes with your sister.
"Hi Kahori."

"So I'm gonna be an aunt..Again..sorry." She leaned her head on your shoulder.
"I overheard the conversation with Akaashi..I can see where you're coming from..especially the fear behind it all."

You gave your sister a small smile. "I just didn't want to get him all happy again, only to lose this baby...I just couldn't bare to put him through that again.."

"And that's a valid point Y/n..but what if you did lose the baby again? And he didn't know you were pregnant in the first place? What would you do then?"

You chuckled. "Fair point little sis..fair point." You then felt yourself start to zone out and stare at nothing in particular.

Kahori sighed. "Look, yes he'll be mad at you..but.." She paused. "He loves you, and he'll understand where you're coming from okay? Just talk to him about it and I'm sure it wouldn't cause a big argument..You guys have been in love with each other since high school, I don't think he's gonna leave you."

You heard every word your sister said but you just couldn't bring yourself to say any words.
Not only were your hormones worse than before, but now you were filled with anxiety about how Kuroo feels.
Kei had warned you and yet you still chose the path you did. Hiding Kuroo's future child that is currently growing inside you, away from him.
You felt embarrassed.

"We should go inside now, it's getting colder and the last thing we need, is you catching a cold."

You finally snapped out of it and nodded to your sister, letting her guide you back inside to the party.

After a few more hours, everyone decided that it was time to go home.
Ukie was passed out on the couch, while Kenma tried to lift her up and take her to the car, Kuroo of course jumped in and helped.
He had decided to stop drinking hours ago, as he didn't want to be plastered when you all got home.

Bokuto was leaning on Akaashi, trying to keep his eyes open and his words clear as he said his goodbyes to you and Kahaori.
Akaashi, not being a big drinker, helped Bokuto to bed, once everyone had left.
Thankfully, no one needed to stay the night.

"You wanna stay at our place? I can give you two a ride home tomorrow if you like?" You asked Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.
They both accepted your offer, as they were also both tipsy and didn't really feel like taking the train home at this late hour.

Once everyone was home, you all parted ways.
Leaving you and Kuroo alone in the living room.

"How long have you known?" He finally spoke.
You could tell he was quite angry by the space he left between the two of you on the couch.

You curled your legs up to your chest.
"Three months now.."

Kuroo nodded and bit the bottom of his lip. "Why didn't you tell me?"

You sighed, You looked into his eyes and felt the pit in your stomach come again. You told him every detail as to why you kept it from him. And he sat there, listening to every words, not interrupting once.

Once you were done speaking, it was Kurro's turn.
"Okay..Okay..wow yeah okay."

"Tetsu..I'm sorry for not telling you sooner bu-"

He stood up from his seat. "Look I hear you okay? But come on Y/n! We're supposed to be team on this and you just decide to keep this away from me?"

"I'm so-"

"My own child. Because why? You didn't want to hurt me if things went south again?"

You were taken aback, feeling daggers in our hearts.

"Do you think I'm that weak? That I can't handle things on my own?"

"That's not what I meant-Testu, you're blowing this out of proportion-"

"Oh and you didn't tell me that you wanted another kid so soon? You've been off of your birth control for that long? And didn't tell me? Baby, I would of been thrilled if you looked me in the eye and said that you wanted to try again, because frankly, I've been under the impression that you didn't want any kids right now..."

You felt frozen, his words replaying over and over in your head.
"Baby, You're stressed right now, with work and volleyball practice..baby take a breath."

"I can't! I can't Y/n! You kept this away from me for three months! Three months Y/n."

"I know, and I feel horrible for doing that but please-"

"I need to take a walk.." Kuroo said, walking to the front door to grab his shoes.

You stood up and tried to chase after him, to stop him but he was already gone, leaving his phone behind as well.
