Confrontation

"Kei! OUTSIDE NOW!" You yelled as you stood up.

Tsukishima rolled his eyes. You marched over to him and grabbed his arm. 
"Ow!"

"Let's go!" You said as you pulled him up from the couch and threw him outside.
You slammed the door behind you.
"That was uncalled for!" Your face was red with anger.

He stayed silent.

"What's your problem with Kuroo?"

"I'm being serious, do you really think that he'd make a good father? Last time all I remembered was that all he cared about was volleyball and his friend with the dyed hair."

"That's not true! He cared about a lot of things back then! You don't even know him!"

"And who's faults that?"

You clenched your fists. 

"You never come visit us, even when you came back to Japan."

"First of all, everytime I do visit, you're either at school or with your boyfriend!"

"He's not my boyfriend."

You rolled your eyes. "Why pick a fight Kei!"

"Because you're my cousin and I want what's best for you! And it's not him."

"What makes you think that? We fell in love in high school and even kept that love strong for those five years I left. He waited for me! He makes me fucking happy and I'm having his baby! What the hell is wrong with that!"

Kei stayed silent. 

"You don't know me at all..that's clear.." You crossed your arms. "Well I didn't come here to get your blessing, I just came to give good news..well not so good news in your eyes."

"I'm just saying, he didn't even go with you to America! He let you leave on your own to go to a whole different country to do something ridiculous!"

"Ridiculous? No saving Kahori from our toxic parents was not ridiculous! Not to mention I fucking did it! She's here right now! Also I told him to stay behind! I didn't want him throwing away his plans for me!"

"Pfft whatever." Kei crossed his arms.

"I see what's going on here.."

Kei raised an eyebrow.

"You're jealous of Kuroo..You also don't want him stealing me away from you.."

Kei scrunched up his nose.

"I'm right aren't I? And if I remember correctly, Tadashi shut you down!"

"Leave him out of this!"

"No! You're jealous just admit it Tsukishima!"

"Fine I'm jealous that Kuroo is taking away my best friend! The one family member that never disappointed me and was always there when I needed her! My cousin who even was all the way in America, would always take my calls! My cousin who I didn't even know well, but she came to me and made us become close! Yes I'm jealous of Kuroo being the perfect boyfriend! I'm jealous that he found someone to care for and for her to never break his heart. I'M FUCKING JEALOUS!"

You nodded your head. "Finally, now the truth comes out."

"Happy?" Kei said as he breathed heavy out of anger.

"Yes actually, I'm very happy and I wish you'd accept that."

"I just don't want to see him hurt you..." Kei's face softened.

"He wouldn't do that Kei." You reached for his shoulder.
"You've gotten taller."

Kei smirked a bit. "I'm sorry Y/n..."

You pulled him into a hug. "It's okay Kei..You were angry and hell I was too..but I'm glad you finally spoke your mind."
You pulled away from the hug.
"I'm gonna need you more than ever now Kei. I'm having a baby and I've never been more scared and excited in my life. And I want my favourite cousin there, holding my hand and taking my calls when I need him to." You smiled as you resaid what he said earlier.

Kei nodded his head. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay, but I don't think you should be apologizing to me."

"Right.." He said as he started towards the door.

"Kei? Also..you'll find the right person one day, they'll be the best thing in your life and bring a smile to your face even when your falling in a dark pit. I can't stop your jealousy, but I do want you to accept him into the family...Tetsu means so much to me."

"I know..I'm sorry for yelling..." He said as he walked through the door, leaving you outside. You took a minute before walking back inside.

Kuroo was standing by the door was Kei bowed to him.
"I want to apologize for my words and attitude, It was uncalled for and I'm sorry." He then stood up.

Kuroo held a smile on his face. 
He patted Kei's back.
"It's okay skinny, I forgive you."

Kei pushed his arm away. "But if you do hurt her..I will not hesitate to kick your ass."

"I know, but don't worry, I don't ever plan on hurting Y/n. She's the love of my life and I want nothing but the best for her."

Kei nodded his head as he walked back into the living room. You walked up to Kuroo and grabbed his hand, lacing your fingers with his.
"You were listening weren't you?"

"Heard every word." He smirked.
"Oh and Tadashi? That's his friend with that old killer jump float serve right?"

You nodded. "Remember when you used to medal in people's relationships?"

You gave Kuroo a confused look. "Yes?"

"You should do it again.."

"Tadashi?" You whispered.

Kuroo nodded with a smile. "Didn't you hear the tone of his voice when he said that he's not his boyfriend?"

"If I'm being honest, no. I was way too angry to be listening to people's tone."

"Well I did, and he sounded hurt by it..I think there's more to their story and I think you should butt into it."

"If I remember..You were very against me meddling in relationships.."

Kuroo let out a chuckle. "I mean, Look at Ukie and Kenma..also Bokuto and Akaashi..I hate to say it, but it worked..and I think you need to do it one more time.."

You rolled your eyes with a smile.
"I'm just gonna pretend you didn't just roll your eyes at me, come on, let's go back to the living room."

"Kuroo?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

He smiled. "I love you too Y/n."
