First Date..Again

You and Kuroo stayed in the chair that was in front of the window for a little while longer. Your eyes glued back to your book and Kuroo watching you from time to time with admiration.

He loved seeing your lip twitch when a part you didn't like would happen, or see your eyes lit up when you read something funny or the way your heart would start to race when the main characters kissed.
All these idiosyncrasies he noticed and he loved it.
But he was now starting to get antsy. 

He smiled when he thought of something.
He kissed the side of your head, bringing your attention to him.
"Let's go on a date?" 

You closed the book, marking it with the resin bookmark that Kai had gotten you.
"A date huh? Where's Kahori?"

"She's at friends for tonight."

"She knows it's a school night right?"

He nodded. "Just let her have fun."

You clicked your tongue. "So a date? Where were you thinking?"

He tapped your thigh for you to get up, to which you did.
You waited for Kuroo to be done stretching before asking again.

"Just go get into something casual, It's a surprise baby."

You rolled your eyes at him.

Kuroo glared at you. "And here I thought we stopped that?" He then smirked.

You raised an eyebrow but the chuckled when you clued in.
You were about to say something but Kuroo acted fast and picked you up and threw you over his shoulder.
He then walked to the bedroom and threw you on the bed.

In retrot you threw a pillow at him, which he caught in mid air and smiled. "Nice try baby. I'm gonna go shower really quick then we'll go...wanna come?"

You nodded, you waited for him to turn before trying to throw another pillow at him, But he ducked and dodged it.

Those cat like reflexes I tell ya! You thought to yourself as you shook your head.

Kuroo decided on the perfect date but he held it from you till you arrived to the place.
You smiled when you noticed where you two were.
"This place huh?" You said as you exited the car.

"I thought It'd be nice to relive our first date..I was really nervous that day."

You giggled. "I never would of known."

"Let's go get our tickets yeah?"

"Are you gonna pet the rays this time?"

He shook his head. "Probably not no."

As the two of you walked into the giant aquarium, you felt yourself become very excited. It's been a while since you and Kuroo had went on a date like this and you couldn't wait to get it started.

Kuroo let you lead the way after he payed for the tickets, you went right for the giant fish tank and looked at all the different kinds. There were so many colours that you felt overwhelmed.

After a moment of looking around you both went to the moving floor and watched the the many fish swim around you guys.
"Tetsu look a shark!"

He chuckled. "You're just as excited like the first time I took you here."

"Well I mean..this place is so cool, come on!"

He smiled and laced his hand into yours as you both watched the array of fish swim around you.

If Kuroo was being honest he wasn't paying much attention to the fish around him, he was watching you and seeing you smile when something cool passes by you. He held nothing but love for you and he also wanted to see you smile since it's been rough lately for you two.

He also wanted to relive the first time he took your here and noticed that you still held the same excitement like before.
He held your hand a bit tighter and smiled to himself. He's madly in love with you and has been since he first laid eyes on you.
You have done nothing but made him happy and when you came back to him from America, he knew he wanted you by his side forever.
He couldn't wait for the day when you both stand in front of your friends and family and recite your vows, then share a dance to your favourite slow song. He couldn't wait to build his family with you and hold you close when you both grow old and watching your grandkids.

He craved it and he was so happy to have you beside him.

"Tetsu look at that fish!" You said bringing him out of his thoughts. He smiled. "That's one colourful fish.."

As the date came to end you were currently petting the rays, laughing at Kuroo who didn't want anywhere near them.
This date is what you two needed.
A few hours to escape being adults and to just be together.

As you and Kuroo where walking out of the aquarium he still held your hand and even opened the car door for you.

You looked over to him. "Thank you..I didn't know I needed that as much as I did.."

He smiled. "I needed it too." He then reached over and out his hand on your thigh, he gripped it tight as he started to drive home.

"So home or do you wanna eat somewhere for dinner?"

You pondered for a moment. "Can we stop at the store and grab a few things, I feel like cooking, oh and can we make muffins!"

He smiled. "From scratch?"

"Duh, they taste better when they're from scratch!"

You nodded. "Alright, sounds fun to me, We better save some for Kahori..she might be mad if she knew we made muffins and didn't save any for her."

You shrugged. "Her loss, she shouldn't of gone to a friends house on a school night."

Kuroo laughed. "You're evil."

You gave him a wink.

Arriving home from the store you and Kuroo got to work on making dinner together. You both decided on his favourite, grilled salted mackerel.
Well..he decided on it and you just agreed to it.

You laughed at the thought of just coming back from the aquarium and he craved fish..You didn't question it though.

After dinner Kuroo was doing up the dishes while you were getting everything needed for muffins. You both decided on (Fav Muffins!!) and got out a recipe on your phone.
When Kuroo was done he dried his hands and stood next to you to help you out.

At the moment you were adding flour into the bowl when the bag tilted too much and flour came pouring out and going everywere, including all over yourself.

Kuroo couldn't keep in his laugher at the sight of you.
"Ha ha, very funny." You said as you picked up a clump of flour on the counter and threw it at him.
It hit him square in the face and now it was your turn to laugh.

Kuroo wiped his eyes. "Oh you're gonna pay for that one." He smirked and grabbed more flour and started throwing it at you.

You took the spatula that was sitting next to you and tried to deflect the flour like a swords, making sound effects and all. 
Kuroo thought it very cute of you and kept going, not wanting to stop making you laugh.

The night had ended with both of you eating muffins that finally had been made and cleaning up the kitchen that looked like a snow storm hit.
But it was all worth it, all the smiles and laughs. You both needed it more than you both would ever lead on.
