Gender Reveal!

The days counting down to Saturday felt like years!
You were way too excited to know and as was Kuroo.
Ukie hadn't talked to you since the doctor's appointment out of fear that the gender would slip out of her mouth and would ruin the whole thing.

But finally, today was the day.
Ukie had been setting up decorations all over your and Kuroo's apartment with Yellow and white streamers and balloons.
Yellow because she said that it was gender neutral colour and she didn't want that to be the reveal.
You thought it was weird as any colour is gender neutral as it was just a colour, but you didn't want to ruin Ukie's fun.

When Ukie was pregnant with Easton, she didn't have a party so she was super excited to be planning this one and you didn't want to disappoint her.

You and Kuroo were getting ready for the party in your room while Ukie, Kenma and Kahori were decorating.
You decided on a simple outfit that fit you as your variety of clothes were getting less and less.

"You look beautiful." Kuroo smiled as he came behind you and hugged you, letting his hands rest on your baby bump.

"You look very handsome yourself." You smiled.

Kuroo jumped. "Baby! I felt a kick!"

You chuckled. "As did I Tetsu.."

"I can't wait to know! I know I said I want it to be a boy but I will love them just as much if they were a girl!"

You turned around into his arms and wrapped your hands around his neck, pulling him into a kiss.
Kuroo deepened the kiss which made you feel a bit flustered.
Yes he still had that effect on you and probably will for the rest of your life.

"We better get out there..I'm sure people are arriving now."

Kuroo agreed and took your hand into his and lead you out of the room.
Both of you had your eyes wide open when you saw all the balloons and decorations.

"Ukie..this is.."

"Too much?" She pouted.

You shook your head. "Amazing!"

Everyone smiled.
Easton came running up to Kuroo with a big smile on his face.
"Uncle Kuroo? Piggy back ride?"

Kuroo chuckled. "Come here little guy!" He then reached down to pick Easton up and let him climb onto his back.

"Yeehaw!" Easton shouted, making everyone smile at the little cutie.
It was sights like this when you couldn't wait for Kuroo to be a dad. He would be doing this with your child and you couldn't wait.

As everyone waited for everyone to show up, drinking a little except you of course. You had water.

"Where's Keiji and Koutarou?" Kahori asked you.

"I don't know, but Ukie said they're bringing the cake with the coloured batter so maybe they got held up?"

"Maybe..I hope they get here soon.."

"Me too." You smiled to your sister.

As if the gods heard your conversation, the two husbands walked through the door.

"I brought the cake!" Bokuto yelled.

"Ah! Finally! GAH! Be careful with that Kou!" She yelled as she took the cake out of his hands quickly and placed it on the kitchen island.
She clapped her hands as she pulled out the white frosted cake out of it's box.

"Okay everyone's here yes?" She chimed.

You looked around to see all your close friend and family.
Kei had brought Tadashi like you asked.
Yaku was also here because you invited him personally as Kuroo had failed the last time you told him to invite Yaku to something.
Kuroo had put down Easton to come over to you.

Smiling to everyone, Kuroo pulled you towards the cake. His eyes were shimmering with excitement.

"Okay! So here's the knife!" Ukie said as she got us into position.
"Ken! You got the camera ready?!!"

"Yes love." He said in his monotone voice.

"Okay! On our count you cut okay?"

You and Kuroo both nodded, waiting anxiously for the count down.

"Okay everyone!"

"Three, Two.....ONE!" Everyone shouted at the same time.

You and Kuroo both had your hands on the knife and slowly started to cut the first piece of the cake.
Your excitement grew more and more and you couldn't help but quickly cut the piece, making Kuroo hurry up.

"So!!!" Kahori yelled.

Your brows furrowed, as did Kuroo's.

You looked up to Ukie.
"Vanilla?"

Ukie's face went pale.
"WHAT!!!!!!" She then ran over to you guys and looked at the cake closely.
"KEIJI!!! KOU!!!THE HELL!" Ukie turned to the two males whose faces were pale.

Bokuto put his hands to his mouth. "I grabbed the wrong cake!"

You couldn't hold it in any longer.
You started to howl with laughter as Ukie's face grew more and more angry.
Kuroo eyed you but ended up laughing along with you.

Soon everyone was laughing except Ukie.
She looked so angry and yet devastated at the same time.

Kei then spoke up.
"You called it Kahori, I owe you ten bucks."

You eyed the two and started to laugh even harder.

Kahori took a moment to stop laughing, clenching her stomach. "Okay, okay, it's a good thing I came up with a plan B."

"Plan B?" Ukie asked, she was fighting back tears at this point.
You tried to hold in your laughter for your friend but it was just too good.

Kahori left the room and came back with a big box. Pulling it beside her rather than holding it.
She then pulled it in the living room, calling you and Kuroo over.
"Okay so, I knew that something was bound to happen because were us..so I made a plan if the cake thing didn't work out.."

"Wait how do you know the gender?" Kuroo asked.

Kahori smiled. "Because Miku (A/n: *Cough*Author-chan) had accidently revealed it to me.."

Your and Kuroo both laughed at your sister, shaking your heads as well.

"Okay now, when you open this box, you'll know the gender okay?" Kahori smiled as she took a step back.

You and Kuroo smiled again to each other.
You looked over to Ukie. "Countdown for us?"

Ukie smiled as she chimed the countdown. 
"Three! Two! One!"

You and Kuroo reached to open the big box, but when you did, little Easton popped out holding a bright blue volleyball in his hands. "BOY!!!" He yelled.

Your eyes widened but a smile crept onto your face.

"I-it's a b-boy?" Kuroo looked to Ukie who was nodding her head frantically.

You looked to Kuroo. "Were having a boy!" You then pulled him into a hug and let your tears that you didn't even know you were holding in, fall down your face.

"Congratulations!!!!!" Everyone said in unison.

You felt an overwhelming amount of happiness.

"Damn..I wanted a niece." Bokuto pouted.
