Time Flying

As days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, you found yourself in a bliss of serenity.
Everything in your life seems to be going perfectly and not once have you been in a situation where you felt small.

Back in your younger years, you were a girl who liked to read to escape the world around you. A girl who preferred to be an outcast in a crowd, a girl who never once thought of her future because when asked, you didn't see anything but darkness.

You loved the idea of falling in love which lead you to a relationship that was not what it supposed to be.

You built more walls in fear that if you had your heart broken again, you'd crumble.
But then one morning on your first day of your third year at Nekoma high, a certain cat stole your heart.
His smile was intoxicating and his voice was addicting, everything about him made you want him.
But you were scared.
Scared that you wouldn't be enough or you couldn't let him into your heart, but that didn't stop Kuroo Tetsurou.
He made it his goal to win your heart and cherish it with the utmost love.

Kuroo believed in soulmates and love at first sight, and when he saw a younger you move into the house next to his, he knew you were the one for him.
Yes he was shy to actually say hi but there wasn't a minute you weren't on his mind.

He would feel flustered when you'd wave back to him in the mornings going to school, or when he'd catch you reading in class or at lunch. He admired you from afar and wished he had the nerve to talk to you.
His best friend would tease him because he seemed like this over confident person but really he was just a shy chemistry nerd who loved volleyball.

That is why on the day he noticed that you were his chem partner, he didn't hesitate to talk to you.
It was finally his time to make you his and he would take any obstacle and push through every wall.

When he played twenty one questions with you, he did it on purpose to get to know you better and tried to get you to know who he was.
But when he found out about your life outside of school, like Oikawa being your ex and how that went, to basically raising your little sister on your own. 
Not once did he want to run away, if anything he wanted to be the light when you went into darkness.

When he met your parents and realized that you were suffering from constant needing to be the best from pressure of your parents.
He feared that you would break under their control and didn't hesitate to take you to his home when you were kicked out.
He knew from observation how much it hurt you and the big piece it took out of you, he was scared to lose the real you, but the quite opposite happened.

You had bloomed into this beautiful woman who holds her head held high and never let anything keep her from her goals and dreams.

When you told Kuroo that you'd be going to America to get your sister back, he was a sad to hear that, but he knew that you needed to do this.
It was something that you needed to make you build yourself up and to find yourself, so that's why, not once did he try and convince you to stay.
He didn't want to be controlling over you, instead he waited.
He waited for you to return to him and the day that you did, he had never been more happier.

He knew right then and there that if you came back to him, he would marry you and spend this whole life with you.
He observed how you held yourself after returning to Japan and was more than proud of you.
You had to endure so many hard things that he was scared that you'd be a different person coming home to him.
But here you were, holding your head high and moving on with your life, with him right beside you.

If you were being honest with yourself.
In America you lost yourself in the chaos of getting custody of Kahori, you had a moment where you didn't even know who you were.
Reading had left your mind and interest for quite some time, till you decided on taking a small writing class.
You had finally found your belonging again and immediately contacted Akaashi when you found out he was an editor.

As your life had moved on faster than you wanted, it seemed like everything was finally falling back into place.
The emptiness in your heart and soul had been filled and it was a feeling of freedom.

You couldn't be more grateful for everyone by your side throughout the years.
You had made friends for life and became closer with family you have never been close with before.

You saw a new meaning to life and knew that this was the path you were destined for.

"This is our story and I couldn't be more happy to be living it beside you." You smiled to your soulmate, Fiance, Lover, to Kuroo Tetsurou.

A short chapter but..I was feeling cheesy..but...you know what this means right? I'm sorry everyone, but so much love to all of you!
There will be only a couple more chapters left and it will be the end of this book!...I'm a little sad not gonna lie...❤❤
