First Fifty Pages

As much as you didn't want the weekend to end, it was now Monday morning and you were getting ready for work. You smiled to yourself and you started to notice a small baby bump starting to form in the mirror.

"Tetsu? Don't your first practice with the team today?" You turned to ask him as he was taking a shower.

"Yeah why?" He yelled. 

"Aren't you excited?"

"A little yeah." He smiled to you as he poked his head out from the shower curtain.
"Don't worry, I can still pick you up from work."

You shook your head. "Don't worry about that, I'll probably be staying longer than normal since I have to hand those first draft pages in..I'll get Akaashi to take me home."

"Okay."

"I'm gonna go make sure that Kahori is awake." You said as you walked out the bathroom.

You knocked on your sister's door and poked your head in. Your eyes widened as you noticed that she wasn't in there.
Then you heard laughing from the kitchen and the smell of waffles filled your nose.
You went to go investigate and saw Yaku and Kahori eating at the kitchen island.

"Smells good." You said walking in.

Kahori turned to you with a smile. "Yo, Yaku-kun here has been holding out on us. These waffles are amazing!"

You smiled as Yaku was gleaming from her compliment. "Here." Yaku said holding out a plate.

You took it with a thanks and took a seat next to your sister and started to eat. Your eyes widened as your mouth was filled with fresh vanilla.
"Yaku, you can stay here as long as you want if you make these every morning!"

"Make what? Why does it smell like Vanilla and big egos in here?" Kuroo teased as he walke dinto the kitchen, he was still shaking his hair with his towel.

"I made waffles for everyone!" Yaku smiled.

"What did you do to them?"

An irk mark appeared on Yaku's forehead. "Nothing you rooster! Here try one!"

"If I die, we know who did it okay?" Kuroo smirked.

You watched him closely as he took a bite. He held a poker face.
"I have to say, I agree with my wife..You can stay as long as you want if you make these every morning."

Every started to laugh then continued to eat their breakfast. Soon, it was time to start heading out.

"Actually guys..I did this as a thank you..I really appreciate you letting me in your home and letting me crash here till I got back on my feet."

"No worries man..Y/n wouldn't of let ya live on the streets..I mean I would of though." Kuroo smiled.

"You think you're funny don't you?" Yaku jabbed.

"I think I'm hilarious." 

"You're the only one." You and your sister said at the same time, earning high fives from Yaku.

"I see how it is..Let's all gang up on Kuroo right? Funny guys."

"AnYwAys." Yaku started. "I found an apartment..and I'm going to get my license today.."

"Don't you have your license?" Kahori asked.

"Not for Japan..I need one to drive here.."

"Ah" She said as she went to grab her school bag.

You went to grab you own bag that bad your fifty pages in there..You felt nervous..You didn't know what your boss would think or if he'd even like it.
Your boss last time didn't like the idea and gave you quite a hard time. But at least Akaashi would be there.

You were shaking your leg as you waited with Akaashi outside of your boss's office.

"He's gonna like it Y/n, the pages you emailed me were amazing." Akaashi tried to reassure you.

You gave him a weak smile. "Thanks.."

It wasn't long till your boss opened his door and told the two of you to walk into his office.

You both took a seat in the chairs that were positioned infront of his desk.
"Here's the first Fifty pages sir." You said handing him a stack of papers that were perfectly placed inside a folder.

Your boss took it and opened the folder, he licked his thumb and flipped through the pages, making you cringe a bit as the pages became folded.

I swear to God if he blames me about the folded papers....

You clenched the sides of the arm chair you were in and felt the rage filling up inside.
You knew that most of this anger was from your uncontrollable hormones, but you still wanted to punch his face in.

"You may leave." Homura your
Boss stated quite bluntly.

Your eyes widened. "But you asked for a meeting?"

"With Akaashi yes, not with you, now you may leave." He waved you away.

You felt your face become hot as you fought the urge to throw the chair you were sitting in at him.

Akaashi gave you a sad look as you turned to walk out the door.
You gave your boss one more glance before closing the door.

You went back into your own office and decided to call Kuroo.

"Baby?"

"You busy?"

"Just about to head into work, why are you okay? Is the bab-"

"Yes we're fine.. But it's my boss.. He's being an ass again.."

"Want me to come kick his ass?"

"As much as I wanna say yes.. Don't.. But Tetsu I have a bad feeling..."

"What do you mean?"

"I think I'm gonna be fired..."

"I doubt that baby, you're just overthinking too much.."

"Anyways, I'll let you go, see you when I get home. And have fun at your practice!"

"Okay baby, I love you."

"I love you too."
You hung up the phone and saw a shadow walk past your door and stopped.

You assumed it was Akaashi.
Your heart started to race.

He knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

Akaashi opened the door slowly.
"Y/n?"

He looked white as a ghost as he stepped in and closed the door behind him.

"We've been fired." He spoke softly.
