News

As they days passed smoothly, you felt abnormally unusual today.
You had an upset stomach, you were very tired and you couldn't seem to make yourself eat. You had extreme abdominal pain as well.
You grew worried and had scheduled a doctor's appointment before you, Kuroo and Kahori go to Miyagi to watch Tsukishima's volleyball game.

You were laying in bed, holding your stomach in pain.

"Baby.." Kuroo said as he took a seat on the bed next to you.
"I'm scared.."

You grabbed his hand. "I'm sure everything is fine Tetsu..."

He held a worried look on his face.
"Want help up? We should head to the doctor's now."

You nodded as you let your fiance wrap his arms around you.
He pulled you to sit up and you slowly got up from the bed.
"I'm just gonna go to the washroom first..." You felt weird.

Kuroo nodded and help you to the bathroom.

When you closed the door, you started to panic.

You pulled down your pants to see none other, than blood..

Tears filled your eyes. "No.."

You cleaned yourself up and changed your pants.
Kuroo had basically carried you to the car.

On the drive to the doctors, you felt extreme pain in your lower stomach. You didn't fight the tears.
You had a feeling as to what is happening.

Kuroo was dripping the steering wheel tight, his knuckles turning white.

It seemed like a long drive, but it wasn't, soon you had finally arrived.

Kuroo walked into the doctors office and grabbed a wheelchair for you to sit in.
It was his idea since walking, was a struggle right now.

When you entered, you were taken to the doctor right away.

When you entered the room the doctor was already there waiting for you, he held a worry look on his face, which didn't help Kuroo's nerves.

"Come in, and please, tell me what you're feeling." The doctor said with a fake smile.

Your heart dropped, but you begun to explain what pain and stuff your experiencing. You even mentioned the blood.

Kuroo was standing behind you and you felt a hand on your shoulder. He gripped you tightly.

"If you may? I'd like to examine you and and do an ultrasound..."The doctor said slowly.

You agreed and got up on the bed and layed down, pulling your shirt up a bit.

The doctor did what she had to do but when she was done.
She gave you both a sad expression.

"I'm sorry to inform this-"

"A miscarriage.." You mumbled.

The doctor nodded. "I am very sorry for your loss."

Kuroo had collapsed to the floor and started to cry.
You also didn't hold back tears.

"I'd like to say that you did nothing wrong in this pregnancy, miscarriages happen more frequently than we like them to. unfortunately I do have to tell you what will happen now." The doctor said slowly through your sobs.

You felt like you zoned out the entire time the doctor was talking.
You unconsciously hugged your stomach and wished that you weren't in that room right now.

You couldn't even look at Kuroo as you hated to see him this hurt.
You've never seen him look so pale and distressed.

Once you were told what will happen to your body within the next few weeks. You and Kuroo left the hospital.

Kuroo had helped you into the car and kissed your forehead before heading to the driver's side.

When he got in, he held a blank face.

"Tetsu..."

"I'm sorry y/n.."

"Please don't be sorry.. Th-thing-it-.. Damnit." You clenched your fists.

"Let's go home."Kuroo said as he started to drive.

Your mind was everywhere on the way home.
You now were just processing what the doctor told you and the tears fell effortlessly down your face.

When arriving home you were greeted by Kahori but when she saw the looks on your faces. She knew to give you two a moment and not ask questions.

Kuroo had basically carried you to the bed and layed you down.
He then crawled in beside you pulled you to his side.
You were laying on his chest and listening to his heart beat.

You could hear small sobs coming from him.
"I'm so sorry baby.."

You were drawing circles on his chest.
"It's okay...we'll get through this... We'll make it work..."

"I still love you, and I always will! Nothing will change that okay?"

You nodded feeling the tears come back again.
"I'm sorry that I couldn't give you a child.."

Kuroo heart started to race.
"This is not your fault! Please don't blame yourself.. The doctor even said that this happens.. Please baby.. Don't do this."

"I think I wanna take a bath.." You said.

"I'll go get it started for you." He gave you a kiss on your forehead before heading towards your bathroom.

You layed there. Holding your stomach.
You unconsciously started to hum the tune that you sang when reading a few days ago.

"Maybe this is a sign.. Maybe I'm not meant to be a mother... Maybe.. Were not ready yet..but why? Why does this have to happen?" You said softly to no one in particular.

"The bath's ready baby." Kuroo said poking his head in the door.

"Thank you." You said as you tried to get up.
Kuroo ran over to you and picked you up bridal style, and helped you into the bath.

He decided to stay by your side while you relaxed in the warm water.
He stayed there, rubbing your back lovingly.
As much as he wanted to sit in a corner and cry.
He knew you needed him. And he wasn't gonna leave your side.

"I love you y/n, and I still want to marry you and spend my whole life with you, that will never change." Kuroo said softly.

You smiled. "Thank you Tetsu..I love you too."
