Breakfast Date

After dropping off Kahori at school, you and Kuroo went for a simple breakfast restaurant that you've been to before. It was actually becoming a usual thing to go out for breakfast on Monday mornings.

Kuroo had said that breakfast was the most important meal of the day and what better to start the week off with getting some delicious food that you can't make at home.

You both were greeted by a lovely waitress who knew you two by just seeing your car, it was safe to say that you've officially become regulars.  

Kuroo pulled out your chair for you and smiled as you sat down.

"Coffee?" The waitress asked.

"That'd be great thank you." Kuroo smiled.

You saw the waitress get a slight pink tint on her cheeks as she nodded and walked away.

You chuckled to yourself as you took a look at the menu.

"What are you getting today baby?" Kuroo asked.

You hummed for a moment. 

"Probably the same as normal. (Breakfast Food)."

"I should of known." He smiled.

Soon the waitress came back with fresh coffee that filled our nose and took your order. Kuroo had ordered the same as you which you also expected since he was always doing that.

You both sipped your coffees as you waited. 

"So I've been thinking." Kuroo started.

"Hmm?"

"I think it's long overdue for a reunion.."

"Reunion?"

He hummed in response. "Yaku called me the other day at work. He's coming home to visit. I thought that may-"

"Yaku is coming home!?!?!" You smiled.

You missed Yaku the most out of all of Nekoma's old team. Hearing that he was coming to Tokyo for a visit for the first time since he left for Russia was music to your ears.

"He'll be here in a bout a week, I was thinking he could stay with us for the time he's here in Japan?"

You nodded your head. "Yes that's perfect! Awe man I miss him so much..I hope he's doing well.." 

"I know, it's been so long since I heard from him, that I shocked to see his name pop up on my phone."

Soon your conversation was interrupted by your food arriving.

"Also, how's the new manga coming?" Kuroo asked.

"Ugh don't ask..Akaashi and I have been working so hard...I don't even want to think about it..."

Kuroo laughed. "I'm sure it'll turn out great, just like your last one."

You sighed. "It's just, I have so much to live up to since my first one was released..I'm just feeling the stress.."

"I see baby, well with Akaashi by your side, I'm sure you guys will make it perfect." 

You smiled to him. 
"Oh yeah..when's their wedding again?"

"Um..Next month I believe."

You rubbed your temple. "Oh my goodness, and here I'm making him stressed with my manga when he clearly is probably stressing out about his own damn wedding!"

Kuroo laughed. "Has he not been talking about it?"

You shook your head with a guilty look.
"I feel horrible.."

"Don't be baby, I'm sure he's not that stressed if he hasn't brought it up and asked for a minute..ya know?" Kuroo reassured as he grabbed your hand and planted a small kiss on the back.

"Speaking of which..." He started. "Are you done eating?"

You nodded as he asked for the bill and payed for the food.
We then set off, you assumed you were going back to the apartment but he kept driving.

"Tetsu? Where are we going?"

He smiled. "You'll see beautiful."

You smiled and shook your head at the goofball. You stared out the car window watching everything pass by you.

You squinted your eyes as you recognized this particular lake front.

"Tetsurou?" 

He smiled as he parked the car. He got out and ran for your side fast so he could open the door for you. You smiled at his gesture.
He then held out his hand to which you laced your fingers together.

"What are we doing here? I have work in less than an hour Tetsu.."

He smiled. "We'll be quick baby."

You both walked to the path and started to walk while watching the water glisten in the sunlight.

Kuroo pulled you to a rock that overhung towards the water. He helped you step on top. He smiled to you and cupped your cheeks.
"Y/n L/n, you have single handedly made me the happiest man alive. Seeing you leave tore me apart but I knew you'd return to me. Our love is something no one could understand but us. I fell for you the moment I laid eyes on you. You are so beautiful and captivating that I couldn't believe my eyes when you said that you'd marry me."

He then got down on one knee and pulled something from his jacket.

"I wanna do this properly this time. Y/n? Will you be forever mine and marry me?"

You felt tears grow in your eyes as he held out his hand with a box with a ring inside. It was the most beautiful moment in history, how'd you get so lucky?

"Yes Tetsurou Kuroo, I will marry you." 

He then stood up and pulled you tight to him and kissed you. 
You have never felt this happy in a very long time. Kuroo had indeed made you very happy and you couldn't wait to spend the rest of your lives together.
Yes he has asked you a month ago, but this felt more real. 
He pulled away from the kiss and took your hand. He then slid the ring onto your ring finger and kissed the top of your hand.

He smirked. "Y/n Kuroo..That has a good ring to it."

You felt eyes of others on you guys, but you didn't care. This was your guy's day and no one was gonna ruin that. No stares or smart remarks would ruin this moment.
You were gonna marry your high school sweetheart, your soulmate, and you couldn't be anymore happy.
