'Achilles grinned. Then he held out his hand, bowing down in a mock curtsy. "May I have the pleasure of dancing with the second"-' Megumi sighed tiredly as she poured over the same passage in her book, unable to concentrate over the loudness of her classmates.

Everybody in her class was out of their seats, loudly talking about the new student who sat in the back of the class. Even people from other grades were standing outside the door attempting to get a look at the new student. It just so happens to be her loud mouth cousin.

Kyo squirmed anxiously in his seat, overwhelmed by all the attention. Specifically, from the girls. Megumi couldn't help but feel slightly bad for him. The students just keep asking questions, not allowing the awkward boy a minute to breathe.

It didn't help when Megumi let it slip that he was related to her and Yuki. If anything, it added fuel to the fire. Now everyone was asking him about Yuki and what he like at home. Luckily, the boy himself wasn't in the room while this was all happening.

Megumi's eyes strayed towards Kyo, watching as he shifted in his seat, attempting to gain some space between him and the plethora of girls surrounding him. Unlike Yuki, Kyo wasn't used to being surrounded by girls all day. Having attended an all-boys institution before transferring to Kaibara.

The sound of someone knocking on her desk got her attention, and she turned to meet Yuki's violet eyes. Who had, at some point, slipped into the room while her attention was elsewhere. She gave him a questioning look, silently asking if he needed something. Eyeing the bundle of paperwork he held in his arms.

"He's not doing very well, is he?" Yuki asked, looking at the boy in question. Megumi gave a silent nod, her eyes also looking back to him.

"He's not used t-to being su-surrounded by girls like y-you are. Give him some time." She hummed, trying her best to think optimistically.

Yuki nodded slightly at her words, not genuinely believing them. But he wouldn't tell her that. He looked at the book she held in her hands, not at all surprised to see the familiar blue and gold cover. The same book she must've read at least a dozen times at this point.

He gave her an amused look as he tenderly plucked the book from her hands. Holding it up where he could also read the words. "Reading this old thing again? What isn't this the tenth time?" He teased, grinning to himself.

"E-Eleventh, actually-" She began, only to be cut off from a pained yell. She and Yuki quickly turned toward the source of the noise. Megumi's face paling when she saw Kyo holding down one of the girls who had been asking him questions earlier.

Before anyone could move, Kyo released her arm from his vice grip, quickly opening a nearby window and jumping out of it. Giving everyone else in the room a heart attack in the process. Half the class rushed to the window, watching as he landed on the ground on all fours like a cat.
