Interesting Encounter

Chapter twenty

Third Person. Deal with it.

Reyna, Percy, Annabeth, Leo, and Nico where making there way to the airport. Annabeth and Reyna had there arms rapped around Percy's arms and where dragging him forward as though he was stunned, he barley struggled but he didn't move a limb otherwise. Leo was carrying his bags, along with Reyna's and some of Annabeth's. Nico was carrying his bags along with Percy's and the rest of Annabeth's.

Bianca was in her wheel chair behind Nico, going with him up to the doors. She was giving him prep talk about leaving, and how they would both survive this. As they came up to the door tears apeared in Nico's eyes, He threw the bags he was carrying on Leo (who stumbled at the sudden contact), and wrapped his arms tightly around Bianca hugging her like it was the last time he ever would. Nico inhaled her sweet sent, she smelled like sugar and sunflowers.

Nico sobbed slightly into Bianca's shoulder. Leaving the hero. Leaving my one dependable thing in the world. Leaving the soldier.  Leaving my care taker. Leaving the victim. Nico thought as he cried into her shoulder. "Nico, Nico calm down. I'll face time you, I'll see you when you fly out for the baby is born, I'll see you during Summer and Christmas break." Bianca murmured.

Nico nodded and pulled away, though tears where still visible in his eyes. "Goodbye, Bianca." Nico said. "I'll see ya' around, ghost king." Bianca said and waved as they walked into the airport.

Nico (wtf why can't I do Percy?)

I walked into the airport slowly and thoughts of Bianca, the hero I was leaving, the saviour I dismissed. I offered to take the bags I was carrying back from Leo, and he obliged gratefully. I put a fake smile on and pretended to be happy for Percy's sake.

"Hey, Nico you alright?" Leo said concerned. "Yeah, I guess. I'm just worried I'll loose Bianca. I've already lost Hazel, my Dad, and my Mom. She's the only family I have left." I mumbled a tear dripping down my cheek. Why am I so emotionally unstable? I hate it.

"Can let you in on a  little secret?" Leo said as we continued walking. "Sure, what is it?" I said looking at him curiously. "I also used to have a family, a mom and a dad, I even had a brother..." Leo's voice drew quite and I noticed Annabeth and Reyna where looking at him as though they knew this but the also knew how hard it was for him.

A tear or two fell down Leo's cheek. I've never seen Leo cry. Not once. "His name was Sammy.... My brother. He was Sammy." I stared at him "What happened?" I asked "He died. There was fire. You see, my mom had a workshop, I was only ten, Sammy was thirteen. I was the only other one in the whole place. Sammy was helping mom in the work room, the door was locked. A fire started. Everyone tells me it's my fault, but I swear I didn't do anything. My mom and Sammy both died, my dad put me up for adoption a few weeks after there funeral." 

More tears fell down Leo's cheeks. "Oh Leo, I'm so sorry. How do you stay so positive all the time?" I said gently. "Please don't treat me different, or more gentle. I'm telling you this because I trust you to continue to treat me the same. And I use positivety as a disguise to cover up how I really feel, also bad jokes and awkwardness works." Leo said simply. 

"I wonder if Bianca does that..." I mumbled mostly to myself but Leo heard me. "Does what?" Leo questioned. "Oh you know. Use positivety as a disguise. I've always wondered how she's so damn happy with her life all the time, now I'm wondering if it's fake happiness." I said as we grabbed our things from item check and made our way to the waiting part.

When the plane finally arrived Annabeth and Reyna had to basically drag Percy on while me and Leo carried all the bags. Yes, I mean all the bags for each individual person. We where earning strange looks as Percy, being almost sixteen, was crying and trying to get away and to hot (if I do say so) girls where carrying him, and none of them had any bags. Then there was me an Leo, two also hot boys carying about fifteen bags.
