Interesting Encounter

Chapter eight

Percy

 I was waiting in my living room for Reyna to come and pick me up. Me and my friends where going out to this new Arcade that just opened up. Luckily we had not been transferred and so I insisted we party, but Annabeth wanted to keep it low, Reyna wanted to hang with Marcy, and Leo just wanted to come over and have mom make us cookies.

So we decided that we would hang at my house then go to an Arcade and meet Marcy there. shit, forgot the cookies. "HEY MOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!" I yelled out. "WHAT?!" she called back. "NEEED YOOOU TO MAKE BLUE COOOOOOOOOOOOKIE!!!!!!!!!!" I heard a chair screech against the floor and heavy footsteps.

My mom walked into the room and mimicked me in saying "need you to make blue cookies!" Then she resumed her normal voice and said "could you get any ruder?" I laughed and said "Probably could if I tried." she just rolled her eyes.

"why do you need them anyway?" she questioned. "Reyna, Annabeth, and Leo are coming over then we're going to an Arcade and we're gonna meet up with Marcy at the Arcade. Leo requested blue cookies." I said and shrugged. My mom looked at me quizzically and said "you didn't tell me you were having friends over..." mom mumbles.

"mom, its just Reyna Annabeth and Leo. its not like you don't know them better then you know me." I laughed and Mom mumbled something then said "oh all right. I'll go make the cookies." I laughed and nodded.

A few minutes later the door bell rang and I opened it to reveal my friends. "guys, I told you, you can just come in!" I said and turned around. "well how do we know you are not changing or whatever?" Reyna said as she walked into out house. "why would be changing in the living room?" I remarked. But Reyna didn't give up, now that she'd started the discussion, she was determent to keep it going. "well what if you and your mom where arguing?"

I laughed and said "well, why would we be arguing in the living room?" Reyna looked confused and said "the living room is a perfectly normal-" But Leo cut her off and said "are those your moms cookies I smell?" I nodded and we all went into the kitchen to grab some.  

once we had eaten all the cookies we ran up to my messy room. I sat on the floor and Leo sat next to me and Annabeth and Reyna sat on the bed. Annabeth, as always, had her nose in a book.

"so, did you guys hear the school announcement?" I said. they all looked at me and shook there heads. "yeah neither did I. its headline is A Little More Socializing At Yancy Academy" I looked at them all and after a few minutes Annabeth said, "well, whats it about?"

I cleared my throat and began to read. "Here at Yancy we improve kids social statuses," I looked at them and said "bull shit." then kept reading "We are concerned for the well being of our students, and when there happy, we're happy." I laughed and said "who writes this junk?" then kept going.

"So we have decided to take a little off there small shoulders, and just give them a little push toward the social world. Giving our students what they have been silently begging for, a little forced socialization. We have done a student count, and have made sure the mess hall is filled with just enough chairs for every student, no more, no less. Every tabble should be full and buzzing with happy and satisfied students."

After I finished I looked at everyone. "well, it looks like we are gonna have some newbies at the table." I said with a grin. Leo smirked and said "hope she's hot." Annabeth pushed him and said "it might be a he!"

Then Leo pouted and Reyna laughed and said "if it's a he, I bet Percy will be having a one night stand with them!" then Reyna Annabeth and Leo all laughed.

Leo play punched my shoulder and said "yeah dude, what happened to your last fling?" I looked at him and said "you punched him in the face for 'cheating on your boyfriend'!" Annabeth fake gasped and Reyna said "ooooooh!"

"well....uh.....what about that kid with the note book and the tree?" Leo said. the mystery boy.... "the tables have turned!" Annabeth said, she was laughing with her head on Reyna's shoulder and Reyna was also laughing with her head on Annabeth's head.

"what about him?" I said. Leo grinned an evil grin and said "he's your new fling!" I could Hear Reyna and Annabeth laughinh from behind me. "nawh. I think he hates me....besides, how could I have feelings for someone I don't know the name of?" I said.

"wait! so if we prove he doesn't hate you, and we get his name, then techincally he is your fling!" Annabeth said. "no thats not-" I started but Leo cut me off "no. its settled Jackson." I felt my cheeks heating up and said "I don't-" but Annabeth cut me off and said "I ship it!"

if I ever did get that close to him, he definatly wouldn't be a fling. oh no, no, no...he'd be so much more then a fling or a one night stand. 

"hey guys its almost 7:00 we should probably hit the road." Reyna said. I grinned as Leo and Annabeth opened there mouths but I was first, "I call shot gun!" I yelled before eiher of them could. "god dammit Percy!" Annabeth said slaming her book.

Leo Laughed and Reyna jumped in the car. "I don't want to sit next to that...." Annabeth said looking annoyed and staring at Leo "that thing!" she said finishing her sentence. 

"god Annabeth, I didn't do anything." Leo said pretending to me hurt. I just laughed and said "to bad!" and jumped into the front seet.
