Chapter thirty three

Nico

The plane had just landed, and, as you can tell, we all made it out alive. Percy is still a little shaken up though, he keeps whimpering and grabbing my arm- but that's all he did the whole ride witch I guess in an improvement.

Oh, and Leo kept crying about Echo. I think he just realized he was never gonna see her again. But I do feel kind of bad for him, I mean, he's not had romance before and he really likes her -not to mention the whole thing with his dead family. So yeah. Leo is a very sad soul.

Annabeth read her book the whole time, well, I should say her books. She read about three of them just in the time we where flying. Reyna fell asleep, and slept threw the whole flight. Hazel was on a completely different flight.

I, on the other hand, was left to try and calm down both Percy, and Leo. Leo just sorta cried on my shoulder, while Percy slept- on my other shoulder... And to think, I was wondering why my neck hurt so bad.

But I'm not mad or anything. Actually, I was quite happy to be able to help Percy, and Leo never cries- I mean never. Like, he will not cry in public or in front of anyone but his closest friends, but Percy tells me he's really emotional when he get's time with just his closest friends.

So I'm glad I was there for Leo, too, I mean, it seemed like he really needed to cry, and I'm glad I was there for him to cry on- even if I couldn't make it better. But, mostly, I'm glad I'm going back to see Bianca.

Because, literally, I owe her my life. I'm so happy I get to see her again, to feel her soft arms, and the way she smells -like sugar and sunflowers, and hear gentle voice, and see her warm, loving smile. Oh, I missed her smile so much. It was the only thing that made me happy, when times where.... Bad, if you know what I mean.

And her hair, it's the softest most cuddly thing -You know, besides Percy. He's pretty soft and cuddly. But Bianca would cuddle me before I knew Percy- Well, before Percy knew me. I always liked Percy, even before he knew I existed. But now is no time to cry about the past, because he know I exists now, in fact, he's hanging onto my arm right now.

"Shh, Percy it's alright! We're off the plane know!" I said, in attempt to calm Percy. It must look pretty weird, you know. He's holding my arm up to his face, cuddling it like a stuffed animal, and he's almost seventeen while I'm barley fifteen. Must look so weird to other people.

"I know we're off the plane, Nico, I'm not an idiot. In fact, I wasn't even scared on the plane, but that part where I pretended to be asleep was pretty creepy 'cause Leo kept sobbing in my ear, but it was weird, because it was like a long-distant-sob so it sounded like people making out." Percy said, grinning, still hugging my arm.

"Wait, if you weren't scared, and aren't scared, then why where you and are you hug my arm!" I exclaimed, yanking my arm back. "Because, your skin is so soft! It's like a bunch of little tiny angels!" Percy said, grabbing my hand and rubbing it on his face.

"And you pretended to sleep on my because....?" I said, already laughing from his first statement. "Because Nico! Your hair, it's tickly! And fluffy! And it's even more softer then your skin!" Percy said, then promptly rubbed his face on my hair.

I laughed and said "You hurt my neck, asshole!" then pushed him off me. Percy scoffed and looked away, saying "That was Leo." Then walked off pretending to be annoyed at me for insulting him, and pretending to ignore me.

I broke down laughing, and a couple other people around me stared. Percy was making such a scene out of pretending to ignore me, it was funny. I walked up to him and said "Now who's the drama queen!" then stuck my tongue out.

"Hmm.... Still you!" Percy said and ruffled my hair as I huffed. Then we both just started laughing. "My necks alright, thanks for asking." I said, leaning my elbow on Percy's shoulder, our faces where so close I could feel his breath on my lips as I smirked.

"Good, I was worried I'd have to take you back to Dr. Solace!" Percy said, kissing my softly and quickly.

It had become a sort of joke of ours, that whenever any of us got hurt then said 'I'm okay!' or something along those lines, one of the rest of us would say 'Good! I thought I have to take you to Dr. Solace!' Or something along those lines.

And, we made it into sort of a competition. Like, if Leo fell off his chair -Witch, let's be honest, happened a lot- then if Leo said "I'm okay!" all of us would try and say "I thought I'd have to take you back to Dr. Solace!" first, and whoever said it first won... Except they didn't win anything.

"Guys!" Annabeth yelled, and I looked up to see Annabeth, Reyna, and Leo where each a good deal a head of us. Me and Percy both looked at each other, laughed, then ran to catch up with them.

When we finally got out of the airport, Sally and Bianca where already outside waiting for us. As soon as I saw Bianca, I almost cried.

I ran forwards and tackled her in a hug, breathing in her sweet sent witch I have missed so much. "Bianca! I missed you so bad! I think my face would have died if I did see you soon!" I exclaimed, not caring how little sense the made.

Bianca laughed and we broke the hug, she stared at me for a few minutes, a huge smile on her face. "Nico! Have you gotten taller?" She laughed, looking me up and down.

"Your almost up to my shoulder!" Bianca continued. I laughed and play smacked her. "Oh, sorry. I guess your not quite up to my shoulder, more around my elbow." Bianca said, still laughing.

"And apparently your really light, to. I saw the pictures you sent me of you on Percy's shoulder." Bianca said, winking. "I didn't send you a picture...." I said confused.

Annabeth walked up and said "Oh, that was me" then handed me my phone. How on earth did she get her hands on my phone...? It was in my carry on... I packed it up this morning.... And I was using it on the plane.

"How? Why?" Was all I said. "I took it this morning, Percy gave it to me. I sunk it back on your bag for the flight, then took it back out to text Bianca. Nice to see you again, by the way, Bianca." Annabeth said, grinning.

"Like wise, Annabeth." Bianca sad. Annabeth chuckled and walked off, leaving me with Bianca once more. "So, Nico, heard the news about Hazel." "Oh yeah?" "Yeah!" "You excited to see her?" "Dude, she's my sister! Of course I'm excited!" "Well good, she should be here soon!" "But, like, does she remember us?" "Nope. Didn't recognize my name. Dad didn't recognize me be looks, he was gonna call the cops until I told him my name was 'Nico Di Angelo' he didn't even listen with just 'Nico'." "Nico, what if she doesn't like me?" "Impossible." "But, what if?" Bianca looked worried, and I felt bad.

"Well, why wouldn't she?" Bianca thought for a minuet, then said "Why would she?" I said "Because your kind, your happy, your caring, your loving, your dependable, your honest, your brave, your trustworthy. Because I owe you my life, because your gentle, heck, you even smell nice! But most of all, because your her sister! Now that may seem insignificant, but she thought she was an only child. And, we may not have had the best examples of this in our lives, but family sticks together. Weather she thinks you suck or she wants to kiss you, we're family. And family is family, no matter what. She's a good person, Bianca, she knows that, and I think you do too."

After a few seconds Bianca just laughed and said "Well, gosh Nico! When did you get so goof at pep talks?" I laughed and said "Since Percy had to ride an airplane!" Then we both laughed. Percy came up behind me and said "I heard that!"

"Yes, well, it doesn't really matter. I love you anyway." I said and kissed his nose. Then we colected our things and jumped in the car. Annabeth actually put down her book and socialized in the car ride, witch was strange, beings its Annabeth we're talking about here.

When we got home it was nice, and warm, and it smelled like cookies. And there where cookies, and so much cookies. And that was the night I realized just how popular Percy was. It was more then a high school popularity, he was famous in his neighborhood. 

A/N YEAH! SHORT CHAPTER! Okay so I know it was a little weird- and ended pretty weird, tbh. But the ending will make sense later, and the rest, well.... Myeh, hope you liked it or your just gonna have to live with it.
