Chapter twenty one

Percy (finally!)

Me, Reyna, Annabeth, Leo, and the extremely hot yet.... Um, Nico, where walking up to the front desk to sign in.  I kept staring at Nico, I mean, either we would be roommates or the exact opposite. I really hope we're roommates though, like how awesome would that be? Or maybe I'll be roommates with one of my other friends, I just really don't want to be with a person I don't know, especially a straight girl. Not that I have anything against straight girls, I'm justt to sexy, they would get the wrong idea. That would be so awkward.

So we walk up to the desk, all in out uncomfortable uniforms and shit. And the lady is like "first names?" and she keeps glaring at Annabeth, like whats that about? "Perseus, but most people refer to me as Percy." I said with a smile. She gaped at me "Like, as in Percy Jackson? Like son of Posiedon Jackson?! The founder of this whole place?!" I smiled a little more nerveous, frogeting how famous I was here. "Yup. That's me. And this is Nico, Jason, Leo, Reyna, and Annabeth." I said with another big smile.

"Alright, just one more thing." She said her attention directed at Annabeth. "Annabelle, we do not approve dyed hair here." she said moving her glaces a little down on her nose and looking at her quizzically. Annabeth glared at her and counting on her fingers she said "Okay, one it's Annabeth and don't confuse it, I do not tolerate my name being confused. And two, this is my hair, it's part of me. If you have a problem with it, I don't give a crap. It's my hair, and it does not need your approval.

The girl glared at Annabeth and was about to tell her off when I cut in saying "I'm so sorry. We don't mean to offend, I think it's just been a very long trip. Came here all the way from New York you know, on a plane. I hate planes. Please don't take this personally." I smiled rather large and she blushed a little. "Of course. I know how hard it can be. Harder for some." the girl said, looking pointedly at Annabeth with the last part then smiling at me and handing out the room numbers.

As we walked away Reyna said "What was her problem?" Annabeth laughed a little, a triumphed smirk still visible on her face. "Donno. But Percy totally saved her from my wrath with his 'award winning smile, and charming voice'," Annabeth said smirking. "Well that, and she was totally into you. Plus your famous here. I bet that helped." Leo said elbowing me. "Yup. Imma super star!" I said striking silly posses. Nico laughed saying "Dude, don't get to excited. Just cause some grumpy girl recognized you, doesn't mean your a super star."

I mock glared at him and he laughed. "what number room are you guys in?" I said looking at mine and saying "I'm 10." Nico laughed and said "I'm 3" Aw man. Looks like we're not rooming together. To bad. "Hey dude! I'm a 3 as well!" Leo said happily. "That's Great. Juuuuust great." Nico said with obvious sarcasm. Leo pretended to look hurt then continued rambling, but no body was listening. "I am -not 10 sorry Perce- I'm 6." Annabeth said. "Oh! I'm a 6 to!" Reyna exclaimed and they highfived.

"Well, I guess I've got the stranger then." I mumbled. Just what I didn't want. "I'm sure you'll be fine. Your much more friendly then the rest of us, plus your famous so that should help." Annabeth said before we went off to our different rooms.

I walked around until I found room 10. I gulped. What if the girl in here is like the Drew of this school? Percy. You don't even know if it is a girl. There could even no one in here yet, you know, you really shouldn't make assumptions like that. I'll make all the assumptions I want! I groaned realizing I was arguing with myself again. I sighed, I hate it when I mentally argue with myself over stupid stuff. Like whats the point! "doing it again!" I said outloud, really frustraited.

I sighed again and knucked slightly, no response. I knocked a little louder, no response. I pushed the door opened and peaked in, a girl was making her bed in the corner, but I guess she didn't hear me... I stepped in and closed the door. I cleared my throat rather loudly but she still didn't look up.

I walked over to the other bed and said rather nerveously "Is this bed taken?" she shook her head not the least bit shocked that I was there. I turned away from her, and the image of her I had in my mind started to fade.

I quickly looked back at her taking in her long brown hair, beautiful swirling eyes, and soft gentel features.  She was beautiful, but didn't stand out. In her uniform, she looked like every other brunette I had seen walking here. Even here swirling eyes where calm and quiet. 

I turned away from her again and went to my bed, but yet again the image I had of her began to fade. Swirling away like mist seeping through my hands. This girl was so normal, so quiet. 

I cleared my throat and turned back to her, all the images of her rushing back at first glance, and said "My name is Percy, it's nice to meat you." it was a little awkward, the girl, whatever her name didn't respond. She just turned and staired at me with those big, beautiful eyes of hers. It's weird how I can't even remember what she looks like, really strange.

So this girl who won't mention her name, or anything for that matter, was just standing there stairing at me. Then she waved at me and turned back to her bed "it looks like we're roommates," I said trying to make conversation, still no respone "Do you have a name?" she just waved me off.

A/N: heyyyyyyyyyyy friendsssssssss! So what do you think of the shorty short chappie? I thought it was okay, especially since I updated like, uh, yesterday! You don't know how lucky you guys are, none of my othere books get updated this recently. Some of them, in fact, it's been a whole month since the last chapter. But you don't wanna hear about me! Also, I'm doing one question per chapter from here on out so yeah.
