Interesting Encounter

Chapter nineteen

Nico (again, I know.)

Three weeks. Three amazing weeks at the Jackson's. Three weeks full of cookies and laughs and jokes. Three weeks with Percy. But best of all, three weeks and now Bianca would be home any day now. She still needed a lot of care and her legs where, well, not really ever going to work again, but she would be home. And that's all that mattered.

 A fresh snow had fallen last night -though it was almost march- and I yawned and walked over to the window. White powdery snow covering the ground like blanket, though I knew how deadly even the softest snow could be. In fact, as long as the snow settles and we can still go to school I can always count on wet books and snow balls in the face.

I yawned again and attempted to rub the sleep out of my eyes. Then I noticed something. Music coming from down stairs. No lyrics, just music, it sounded like video game music. I opened the door to our bedroom and looked down stairs into the living room.

Percy and Bianca where there, playing what seemed like a very intense game of Super Smash Bros on the wii. I looked at Bianca and she was laughing as Percy pouted and Bianca said "Annnnnnd..... Zelda wins again! Surprise surprise!" Percy pouted and said "No fair. I have to play as weird old Wario." "That's your choice, not mine!" 

I didn't listen to the rest of the conversation, joy took over me and I ran down the steps crashing into a surprised Bianca and wrapping my arms around her pulling her close. She seemed frozen at first then she relaxed a bit dropped her wii remote and hugged me back.

I gripped her so tightly I bet it was hard for her to breath. "Nico, calm down. I mean, I'm happy to see you to and all, but we talked yesterday, and the day before. Also your squeezing the life out of me" Bianca said with short breath. "No Bianca. This time your wrong. You almost died. I shouldn't calm down." I mumbled into her shirt, a single tear slipping down my cheek.

"Nico, Nico..." she hummed playing with my hair "You could have died to, but you didn't, I didn't. We're okay, we're all okay. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better, and his is defiantly one of those times, but where past the worse now. We're getting better." I smiled at how logical and sentimental my sister had gotten in the time she was in the hospital.

I released my arms from Bianca slowly and said "sorry, I just missed you so much.." another tear fell down my cheek. Bianca smiled and wiped it away "I missed you to Nico. I love you, don't ever froget that." she said smiling, I smiled back.

Percy cleared his throat and I grinned at him. I grabbed another controller and plopped down on the couch next Percy. "By the way, your boyfriend sucks at Super Smash Bros." Bianca said as she stated up the next round. "I do not!" "do to!" "do not!" "I've one ten out of eleven games, and the one I lost was cause I was on a different character by accident!" "Not true!" "is so!" I laughed as they argued, but no one seemed to point out that we weren't dating, Not yet anyway...

I smiled, Bianca was really good with Zelda, but I was better. Especially with Princess Peach. Yes, Princess Peach, don't judge me. She's awesome. Peach always wins. And Percy, well.... Lets just say, Bianca was right about him sucking.

For about three-four... Five? Well a large amount of hours we played Smash Bro's. Percy was getting better, he even found out he was very good with Sonic the Hedgehog. Sally came in and just laughed at how competitive we where getting.

"You guys want some lunch?" Sally laughed. "Yea, yea..." "Sounds great..." "tha... Thanks..."  Sally laughed and went to make food, did I mention what a beautiful she has? It's really quite amazing. And the fact that she being a single mother with two teenagers who aren't her's living with her and she's expecting a baby, it was even more amazing that she could laugh so often.

After a few moments Sally came back with some sandwiches and we thanked her and dug in. When we finished eating we turned the wii off, then we cleaned up. And when we finished that, the door opened and Annabeth came in followed by Leo, Reyna, Marcy, and a girl I did not know.

"Hey guys, whater ya doing?" Annabeth said as she sat down along with the rest of them. "Nothing really. Who's your friend?" Percy asked motioning to the girl next to Annabeth. "This is Thalia, Thalia you know Percy." Annabeth smiled.

"I'm Bianca, this is Nico." Bianca smiled and stuck out her hand for Thalia to shake. "So is he your boyfriend?" Thalia said casually. Everyone laughed and I made a gagging noise. "Why does everyone think we're dating?! She's my sister for god's sake!" I groaned. Everyone laughed more.

"Besides, she's not really my type." I said slyly. "Excuse me! I am most defiantly your type! It's just that your gay!" Bianca said just as slyly. "Well, look who's talking!" I shot right back. "Lets be honest here, you would totally have the hots for me if I where a boy and we weren't related." Bianca said. "Not true. Your way to touchy-feely. I don't like to be touched. Also you think everything is nice and you can put a positive spin on just about everything. And you smile to much." I said mockingly. Bianca pretended to be hurt and play slapped me, so I pretended that the slap stung.

"You know what they say, opposites attract!" I groaned and was about to snap back at her but I was distracted by Marcy, who although was years older then Reyna, was sitting on Reyna's lap and they where being flirty and kissing. Marcy was actually graduating soon, and I suppose this was there goodbye, especially since Reyna was coming with us to that boarding school. 

I also noticed Annabeth's hand resting on Thalia's and the way they glanced sadly at each other. Maybe this is there goodbye. Maybe this is there way of saying 'keep in touch'. Cause if they really love each  other, they will find away. Love always finds away. Except with me, of course. Beacuse I'm in love with someone who doesn't love me back.

Sally walked into the room and smiled at us, saying "You guys all packed up for your big trip tomorrow?" Shit. The plane leaves tomorrow, and I haven't packed a thing. Also, I'm gonna have to leave Bianca a day after she comes home. "I am." Leo said proudly. "I started packing as soon as I heard about the trip." Annabeth said "Me to." Reyna agreed. "Boys?" Sally said looking at us quizzically, waiting for us to tell her how we packed. I staired and Percy wild eyed and he staired right back, then we both leaped out of our seats and ran up the steps puching to be first. Laughs ecoed behind us as we scrabbled to our room.

A/N: Heyyy friends.... Sorry for long wait and crap-tastic chapter! I thought it was kinda funny though, how neither Percy nor Nico packed anything.
